The event served as a fundraiser as well for Nigeria Unconquered, a charity dedicated to empowering wounded warriors through sports and rehabilitation programs.

The teams were split between Harry and Meghan — Team Duke and Team Duchess.

Of course Meghan’s team won!

Harry closes out the event saying “Nigeria is a beautiful place” and thanks everybody.
Afterwards the couple attended a dinner reception. It is their last engagement for this trip as the couple returns home tomorrow.
Our look at what Meghan wore for the event.

Meghan wore a dress from Johanna Ortiz – the Summer Counts dress, $1995.

She again wore her Burberry Prorsum ‘Berkeley’ sandals in gold. Meghan’s are the non-platform style. The shoes are from 2013 – see our earlier post with more details on the shoes.

Meghan also wore her Heidi Merrick sunglasses – the ‘Santa Barbara’ style, $215.

She had a new pair of earrings on today. They are gold with orange/coral beads. We will update the post once we find more information on them. Pearl on Twitter suggests that they look like the coral and gold Nigerian bride earrings – shown below – and were most likely gifted to her.

She had on the same bracelets as show in our previous posts— the Ariel Gordon ‘Hex’ bracelet and her Lorraine Schwartz, the Against Evil Eye Five Eye Diamond Pave Bracelet, $18,500 — her staple pieces, Diana’s gold Cartier Tank watch and Cartier ‘Love’ bracelet and the unidentified beaded bangle.
We also spotted her wearing the Birks Iconic Stackable ‘Snowflake’ ring in 18k rose gold and diamonds, $6600, as well as the ‘Bee Chic’ in 18k rose gold and diamonds, $3850. She wore these two rings earlier today with the yellow dress. We’ve seen her wear these pieces on numerous occasions over the years.

UPDATE 5/13: BONUS PHOTO!
We have an additional photo shared by Derrick Cobinnah. He is the President of Ghana Jamaica Chamber of Commerce and co-founder of Forces Help Ghana a Non-Governmental organization seeking to help injured Ghanaian ex-service persons.

Meghan is wearing a jacket from Loro Piana, linen Jamilla Blazer in the colorway ‘Nazca Soil’, $3750. It is not available on any US sites. We did find it here. The jacket is also available in off white here.

Her sweater is also from Loro Piana, Takao Sweater in the colorway ‘Light Dune Melange’, $1,325. it is a silk and cashmere knit. More sizes available here.

Meghan’s jeans are most likely her Frame Le Skinny De Jeanne crop ankle slit that she was seen wearing during the Invictus Games 2023. Similar here.

The Duchess wore a new pair of shoes from Saint Laurent, Chris two-tone embellished leather loafers in Gold Brown/Grezzo, $1050. The shoes are crafted in leather and canvas and finished with a gold-tone horsebit detail. Also available here.

Meghan may be wearing her Kimai, the semi hoop earrings, $795 per earring ($1590 for a pair). It’s difficult to see in the image.

For those wondering, Meghan did her own hair and makeup on the tour per her makeup artist Daniel Martin – more from Rachel Burchfield in Marie Claire here.
“I feel like when I’m not with her, she has more room to play,” Martin said. “I think that’s the fun thing when you see her, like, she’s in Nigeria right now. It’s just her. There’s no stylist, there’s no hairdresser. She’s doing everything herself, and she’s so good at it.”
If you are interested in getting Meghan’s sheer white manicured look try these polishes from Olive and June – Buttercream a sheer milky white, $7.50 or Icing is the Best Part, $9. The brand also offers press-on nails for those on the go!

This wraps up the final day of Royal Visit Nigeria. Harry and Meghan will head home tomorrow and we do not expect to see any additional appearances. Be sure to check back for updates to our posts and a recap post later this week!

This was probably my least favorite dress strictly based on fit. The fabric is lovely, and it works well with her skin tone, but the way the fabric drapes creates bulk where it doesn’t exist.
The white linen dress, while lovely, shows wrinkles terribly, so that’s my second least favorite, though I’m sure it felt nice in the heat.
That peach dress was lovely, my only complaint was the same as others, that the hem was too long. I think it’s likely she changed shoes last minute, but it may be worth hemming it to a shorter length for future wear.
The red dress was my favorite by far. The color was fantastic on her, it fit her beautifully, and the ruffle at the bottom and where it fell on her worked well for her shorter stature. Also love that it was a Nigerian designer. I also appreciated that the white suit fit her really well, unlike some of her past suits which weren’t cut for her body type.
I do think that no longer being held to royal standards has worked in her favor. She’s now wearing clothes she’s more comfortable in, which shows in the way she carries herself. I also think that, because she’s petite, some of those more modest silhouettes she had to wear in the past were not the most flattering for her without aging her. It’s lovely to see her branching out into things that work better for her.
I like reading the summing up comments of people reacting to the whole tour, and which outfits were their favourite, least favourite etc. Thank you, Susan, for this coverage. I look forward to your recap post. As I’ve said before, Meghan’s best accessories are her warmth and thoughtfulness – shown in the wearing of the Aso-Oke cloth the day after being given it. I suspect that what seems to some critics to be ‘over the top’ inappropriate dressing may be her acknowledging that her hosts want and expect a degree of spectacle and glamour. I think she gets the balance just right.
Obsessed with this look! It really gave old Hollywood. And it was confirmed that Meg styled the whole trip herself which is beyond amazing. All the looks were hits for me. The skirt with the white shirt was my fav though. Traditional with a modern twist. And the yellow dress my second fav easy the yellow dress for similar reasons. Very regal with the traditional fabric. These looks highlighted the beautiful Nigerian culture.
But loved everything
Again, this is a wonderul outfit….for an evening out, but seems overly dressy and inappropriate for a polo match, where sky high stiletto shoes are out of sync.
The dress is lovely, the shoes are fine, jewels are fine (assuming not real coral), but…. the whole fantastic outfit seems in the wrong venue.
I hope she finds her way to dressing more with the event in the future.
Jenny I agree with you 100%. Harry always dresses for the event, always! I have never understood why she just doesn’t look at what he will be wearing and then choose her outfits.
His clothing always fits. Meghan’s can be too big, too long, or she just does not pay attention to her body type and wears something that a woman with her high waist does not look good in.
But when she gets it right (and sometimes she does) then she is stunning!!!!
You are spot on.
Serving look after look on this trip! This particular dress is just ok, but the red dress, the wrap,, and the yellow maxi were stunning. The zebra print was interesting. I like that she brought out older jewelry & shoes; she has a great closet to choose from. Thanks for the great coverage!
Completely agree! That closet is divine ❤️
I think I spoke out of turn. I previously thought this was a good designer for her body type. Meghan is lovely, but I think this design is awkward on her due to the waist seam and flowy fabric. A little structure or a self-fabric belt may have improved the look. The fabric looks like it is pulling on the horizontal seam.
I agree. It’s a great dress, but not on Meghan’s body type. She has a shorter torso so in this dress, the knot at the belly is placed up high on her ribs, so it looks awkward. At first I thought it was a poorly designed dress, but after seeing the model photo, I realized the dress is quite lovely, but it doesn’t suit Meghan. I wonder if she works with a stylist.
Hi Kats, There were reports that she has a new stylist, but it was never confirmed. On various occasions she does work with one – mostly for photoshoots/magazines. Back in the day she had Jessica Mulroney as her stylist. I think she dresses in what she feels she is comfortable in. – Susan C.
I think it’s really inappropriate for people to be talking about people’s bodies
Hi Ariel – I understand your concern with regards to speaking about a person’s body type. In this case, fashion critiquing with regards to a short turso doesn’t violate our comment policy guidelines. It was simply pointing out a fact. I hope this helps. If you aren’t familiar with our comment policy please see it here – https://whatmeghanwore.net/comments-policy/. I will be updating it later today as I did notice some errors in wording and it should be updated again. Thanks, Susan
I’m absolutely living for this gorgeous dress Meghan is wearing! She looks radiant! ❤️
Wonderful look! I just hope the earrings are not real coral. I’m so happy she is free to wear what she chooses and doesn’t have to abide by false ryal guidelines.
What are coral earrings? And what’s wrong with them? But from what I saw her and Harry were gifted sets of necklaces and bracelets earlier that day and think this earring was part of those gifts. Whether it’s coral I don’t know
I should probably educate myself before making a simple comment, but it is my understanding that coral (unless antique or procured before a certain date) is illegal for sale in the U.S. Also, coral is needed as a habitat for aquatic life.
There more be other readers who are far more knowledgeable on the subject.
I believe the necklaces the couple were wearing at the beginning of the trip were gifted to the Sussex duo.
Oh I have never heard of that and don’t know if it’s a real thing. Will research. It seems to be a royal thing in Nigeria. All the kings had those beads. So I don’t feel comfortable either way imposing US things on other people’s cultures
