What was your favorite look from the week? Take out poll below!
Make-up and Beauty —
Meghan’s makeup remained consistently natural, enhancing her radiant beauty, while her signature loose waves framed her face with timeless elegance. Her sartorial choices mirrored the essence of the Invictus Games—resilience, unity, and the power of positive change. Meghan’s fashion triumph during this remarkable week underscored not only her regal style but also her unwavering support for the event’s inspiring athletes and her dedication to sustainable and impactful fashion choices.
We had a lot of questions about Meghan’s makeup from last week. As reported, the Duchess did her own hair and makeup during the games. Her makeup was a testament to her “less is more” philosophy. A rosy blush and a matte pink lip accentuated her natural beauty. Her signature loose waves framed her face gracefully, enhancing her radiant smile.
While we don’t have the exact information, we can share brands and items that she has used in the past —
Meghan’s Makeup artist, Linda Hayward, shared that she used Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk lipstick, $35, for the TIME100 photoshoot. Charlotte Tilbury also offers a mini kit of Pillow Talk that includes a small version of the lipstick and lipliner for $25. I own several Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks and love them all!
Below is a suggestion to get Meghan’s makeup look from last week based off products used for her wedding. Dior PR revealed that her makeup artist, Daniel Martin, used Dior beauty products on Meghan including the following –
- Foundation – Dior Backstage Face & Body Foundation, $43
- Highlighter – Dior Backstage Glow Face Pallette, $48
- Lip Tint – Dior Addict Lip Glow – 04 Coral, $40
- Eyeshadow – Dior Backstage Eyeshadow Palette in Warm Neutrals, $52
- Liner – Diorshow On Stage Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner in 781 Brown, $34
- Mascara – Dior Iconic Mascara, $32
I’ve used all of the above products and I can tell you that the shadow is one of my go-to’s along with the eye liner. I also still use the lip tint occasionally but prefer Dior’s lip stains – long lasting and beautiful colors. I would also suggest Charlotte Tilbury’s Beauty Highlighter Wand, $42, for dewy and glowing cheeks.
In the past we shared how Meghan has been a fan of Chanel beauty products and used the below items in her October 2017 Vanity Fair interview. Below is from our Instagram account, October 2017.
Chanel – Les Beiges Foundation / Eyeshadow Palette, $70 / Blush, $50 / Sublimage Le Teint Foundation, $150 / Lip Crayon – discontinued / Concealer, $45 / Mascara, $38 / Brows, $52
She has also used Chanel lipstick Rouge Coco in the shade 402 Adrienne, $45. I wouldn’t be surprised if she still uses it as it’s a great nude color!
Throughout the week, Meghan’s fashion choices struck a harmonious balance between elegance, comfort, and sustainability. Her commitment to sustainable fashion was evident in her choice of brands and her ability to seamlessly re-wear pieces from her wardrobe.
What’s remarkable about Meghan’s appearance at this Invictus Games was her decision to forgo her usual entourage of stylists, hairdressers, and makeup artists. In a departure from royal tradition, Meghan took matters into her own hands, emphasizing her down-to-earth nature and self-reliance. She transformed her look in less than an hour, highlighting her genuine and relatable approach.
Throughout the Invictus Games, we witnessed incredible displays of resilience and determination by athletes from around the world. From heart-pounding track and field events to thrilling wheelchair basketball matches, the games showcased the indomitable spirit of wounded service members.
Stay tuned for a post featuring a number of affordable dupes for various pieces she wore. As a bonus I will cover what Harry wore in another post so look for that!
Inum says
I can’t believe that she spent so much money on what were so creased and frankly looked awful the best example the gold wide leg trousers with that top, did she not have a long mirror ??Of course shorts are a no no as she has such skinny legs
Rita Aura says
Nothing Meg wore really matched the occasion, everything was creased, ill fitting or inappropriate for the event. It was as if she’d not planned to go, then changed her mind and packed quickly.
Had she pre-planned and considered the event and her role she would have surely chosen fabrics that are less likely to crease, longer shorts, and footwear that said sport and fitness, not beach and bar.
Never thought I’d say this but Harry presented himself better then her throughout Invictus.
Amelie says
I really enjoyed Meghan’s Invictus wardrobe! I think the only outfits I didn’t like were tan outfit (the Gabriela Hearst pants). I do wish she sometimes wore a bit more color but the woman loves her neutrals and I can’t really criticize that given most of my wardrobe is the same. She also wanted to keep the focus on the games and the athletes too. The coverage here was so much fun.
Alex says
Thanks for your work in putting this together! I loved all her outfits, and I would love to see her in the white version of the Banana Republic shirt dress.
I would love to see/purchase versions of her outfits that would suit different body shapes- I don’t have legs for days like The Duchess so couldn’t pull off the long wide leg OR the skinny cropped pants she often chooses.
Kate says
Not a fan of every look–some look a little ill-fitted–BUT, I do vastly prefer these looks to what Meghan wore at the last Invictus Games. In those, I remember there was a lot of wealth-signaling and not-so-quiet luxury in looks that were ok, but tended to wear her. I think there’s a sense of return to American-sportswear Meghan when she used to show up in jeans and button-downs and shirt dresses. I think that’s what Meghan does best and it’s nice to see a return to some of that in her choices here.
Flying fish says
I loved each and every outfit.
Vickie says
I am just an adult that has been around for awhile and I do know what looks good on a beautiful lady and here is what I thought of Meghan Markle outfits which is all through her events were sloppy the brown top and tan pants were the worst she definitely wore the wrong shoes with her shorts but her last day with the dress was her best look

the tan pants were not good and worse, wrinkled.
Julius says
Meghan made the occasion really colorful. I love it when she supports her husband’s initiatives. She really compliment him so well.
At the moment she is the luckiest and probably the happiest woman in the world. God bless both of them!
