Meghan has always been a style icon and a champion of worthy causes. Her arrival in Germany today for the Invictus Games was not only a showcase of her fashion prowess but also a testament to her ongoing commitment to supporting veterans and wounded service members.
We begin with Meghan’s departure for Germany, which was nothing short of a fashion statement. She effortlessly combined comfort and sophistication, a trademark of her style. Her ensemble featured a cozy J.Crew cashmere sweater that exuded casual elegance. The simple, classic design of the sweater was a perfect choice for a long journey, and it emphasized her preference for timeless fashion.
Meghan’s sweater is the J. Crew Cashmere shrunken V-neck sweater, $138.
She paired the sweater with the Ulla Johnson ‘Polina’ pants in midnight, $590 — known for their relaxed fit and high-quality craftsmanship. Meghan’s choice of these pants showcased her fashion versatility, effortlessly transitioning from a more formal setting to a comfortable and practical outfit for travel.
To add a touch of luxury and sophistication to her look, Meghan accessorized with an Hermes scarf – Brides de Gala Applique Pique shawl 140, $1225. The scarf not only provided warmth but also served as a stylish statement piece. Meghan’s choice of an Hermes scarf demonstrated her attention to detail and her ability to elevate even the simplest of outfits.
Meghan brought back a pair of shoes we’ve seen on a number of previous occasions, the Valentino Rock Stud mules (no longer available).
Carrying her essentials in style, Meghan opted for a Goyard tote bag – the Bellechasse Biaude PM, gray, $2700. One report stated that the bag was purchased in a consignment boutique. Known for its craftsmanship and timeless design, the Goyard tote is a favorite among fashion-forward individuals. Meghan’s choice of this bag highlighted her commitment to both fashion and functionality.
Her sunglasses upon departure are the Celine Triomphe CL40222 F01A in black with solid lenses, $510. She was seen wearing these over the weekend (more below on that).
On Sunday, Meghan was spotted indulging in a classic American treat – In-N-Out Burger. This heartwarming detail showcases her relatable side, reminding us that even style icons enjoy simple pleasures. Her choice of In-N-Out Burger for a meal reflects her appreciation for good food and a relaxed approach to life. This is where we spotted her wearing the Celine Triomphe CL40222 sunglasses for the first time.
We caught a few glimpses of Meghan arriving in Germany and noticed that she switched up her sunglasses for the Le Spec ‘Le Danzig’ style in black, $85. This is a pair we first saw her wear while out and about in Montecito with Harry, December 2020.
This evening, Meghan and Harry attended the Invictus Games Friends and Family party, radiating warmth and support for the remarkable athletes and their loved ones. Meghan was a vision of understated elegance in a black pleated shirt dress from Banana Republic Factory, showcasing her ability to seamlessly blend fashion and comfort. The couple’s presence at the event underscored their commitment to the Invictus Games and their dedication to creating a sense of camaraderie among the participants and their families. Their genuine engagement with the event and the attendees exemplified the spirit of unity and resilience that the Games represent, leaving a lasting impression on all in attendance.
Victoria Ward of the Telegraph also reports that Meghan is doing her own hair and makeup this week.
Thanks to all of our followers who reached out with the style of the dress as it was a little chaotic trying to find the exact one – Huge thanks to – Alyssa, ALifeinRose, RoyalGeekyMe (Instagram).
Meghan’s shoes are her Aquazzura Purist pump in black suede, $633. This is a pair we’ve seen her wear previously.
Her black belt is the Bottega Veneta ‘Intrecciato Weave’ skinny belt (past season).
UPDATE 9/13: Her earrings are from Kimai jewelry, as confirmed by the brand, the semi hoop earrings, $695.
The Duchess meets Glory Essien at the “Friends @ Home Event” at the Station Airport in Germany.
The Duchess is wearing a friendship bracelet that reads “I Am Invictus”. Friendship bracelets have become all the rage over the Summer after Taylor Swift fans put together a project to spread kindness and trade hand made friendship bracelets at her Eras Concerts (I know first hand, because I was one of them!).
Below Meghan and Harry walk into the party with athlete Yuliia “Taira” Paievska.

Only catching up on these posts since I was on vacation last week but did glance at some of the outfits Meghan wore. I’ve always found it so cute/kind of funny how she loves neutrals and she basically stuck to a neutrals only palette the whole time she was in Germany. I know she probably did it to keep the focus on the athletes and Harry but we know she enjoys wearing them in her daily life. I’m the same so I can relate. Thanks for the fashion coverage! Off to read the other posts. Absolutely love the Ulla Johnson pants but a little out of my price range.
