Harry and Meghan made a dazzling appearance at the 2024 ESPY Awards, held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California. The couple turned heads as they attended ESPN’s prestigious event, celebrating athletic excellence and achievement.
Prince Harry’s dedication to service was recognized at the ESPYs as he received the Pat Tillman Award for Service. This prestigious accolade honors individuals for their remarkable contributions to the veteran community. Harry’s work with the Invictus Games, an adaptive sports competition for wounded, injured, and sick servicemen and women, has made a significant impact over the past decade.

The Duke and Duchess were the talk of the night, especially when their close friend, Serena Williams, took to the stage as the event’s host. Serena, known for her playful and charismatic personality, couldn’t resist giving the royal couple a shout-out during her opening monologue.
“It’s not every day you get to be in the presence of actual royalty,” Serena quipped. “Prince Harry and Meghan are here with us tonight. Let’s give it up for them!”

Meghan and Serena’s friendship dates back to 2010, when they first met at a Super Bowl event. Over the years, their bond has only grown stronger, with both women supporting each other through various milestones, including clothing line launches, tennis tournaments and more. Serena and her husband, Alexis Ohanian, were among the distinguished guests at Meghan and Harry’s 2018 wedding at Windsor Castle. The duo was last spotted together at the Royal Salute Polo Challenge in Florida this past April, where Prince Harry showcased his polo skills.
As the evening unfolded, Meghan and Harry enjoyed the event, mingling with fellow attendees and soaking up the electric atmosphere. Their presence at the ESPYs not only underscored their commitment to important causes but also highlighted their enduring star power.

There have been conflicting reports regarding the designer for Meghan’s dress tonight. People magazine is reporting that the dress is custom Oscar de la Renta while a contact reached out to me and said they confirmed the dress is from Staud (with their design director).
UPDATE: Meghan’s team has confirmed that Meghan’s dress is indeed custom Oscar de la Renta as reported by People.
We show the Staud ‘Giuseppe’ dress from the brand’s Spring 2024 collection below, now $315.
The one thing that we noticed is that the back of the collar doesn’t match that of Meghan’s dress.
It is a very nice “get the look” style from the brand.
We couldn’t help but be instantly reminded of Meghan’s Stella McCartney wedding reception dress upon seeing her this evening! A sweet nod to the couple’s joyous and fun day!
Meghan’s shoes are from Céline ‘Sharp’ strappy sandal in black patent calfskin, no longer available.
Meghan’s ring is from Rodi – the large Cassandra ring in 18K three gold with a diamond loop, $3,400.
She first wore the ring in 2022 at the Invictus Games.

Meghan’s earrings are her Lorraine Schwartz emerald diamond stud earrings first seen in June 2019 at Trooping the Colour and the Lion King premiere in July 2019 (shown with the black removable jacket).

In other news… Meghan was spotted recently in LA for a photo or film shoot. Below is the clip from TikTok of the occurrence.
Meghan can be seen wearing a black track suit with three white stripes on the leg and arm. We’re thinking it is from Adidas but do not see a logo where one would be obvious. It could be that the logo is covered over with tape – a common practice when filming for a brand that is not a sponsor.
