A few weeks ago, Meghan shared a selection of her favorite beauty essentials on her ShopMy page. Fortunately, many of those picks are included in Sephora’s current sale (Rouge: 20% off April 4-14th / VIB: 15% off beginning April 8 / Insider: 10% off beginning April 8th – Use Code SAVEMORE).
Also, several followers recently asked which of Meghan’s go-to beauty brands are cruelty-free—and I’ve got you covered! All of the brands listed below are cruelty-free and clean/planet-conscious, unless otherwise noted.
For a hydrated, radiant glow beneath your makeup, Meghan recommends this lightweight illuminator from SAIE – Glowy Super Gel ($28 now $22).

For hydrated lips, try the Saint Jane Beauty Luxury Lip Shine – Longwear Hydration Lip Oil with Vitamin C ($28 now $22). Meghan shows the shade ‘Bliss’ in her link – which is described to be a universal nude shade.

Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm for Hydration & Shine ($24 now $19). It looks like Meghan prefers the color ‘Iced Coffee’, a sheer cocoa. I own the sheer cherry red shade and love it – it’s the perfect amount of flush for your lips while moisturizing them at the same time.

Another great product for lips that Meghan favors is the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask Intense Hydration with Vitamin C ($24 now $19) in ‘Berry’. I love this lip mask. I am on my second jar and use it at night. I have tried the Sweet Candy and the scent is really nice. They have also added two new flavors – Grapefruit Pamplemousse and Peach Iced Tea.

If you want to pick up some of Meghan’s wedding day makeup items – the Dior Backstage collection is included in the sale.
Backstage Face & Body Foundation / Dior Backstage Flash Perfector Concealer, $32 / Rosy Glow Color-Awakening Blush – Instant Natural Healthy Glow in pink lilac, $40 / Backstage Glow Face Palette ($48 now $38) / Backstage Eye Palette (Meghan shows the 002 Smoky Essentials on her ShopMy page as the palette used for her wedding day, however Dior PR had sent me the information at the time and said that it was the 001 Warm Neutrals palette – you should get the palette that works best for you) / Diorshow On Stage Liner ($35 / Iconic Mascara in Black (this mascara is no longer available in 2025 – try this updated one from Dior) / Lip Glow Color Reviver Balm – Meghan shows the pink shade on her ShopMy account. Dior PR had sent me information at the time and said it was the Coral shade. I’ve always thought it was the pink based on the photos of her from that day.

Below, Dior PR sent this to me back in 2018. The Dior Backstage – Contour Palette is discontinued.

Now we’re going to look back at other makeup Meghan used and favored over the years. You can read more about all of her makeup in my post here.
Armani Beauty Luminous Silk Natural Glow Foundation ($48-$69 – now $38-$55) / YSL Touche Éclat Awakening Concealer Click Pen ($40 now $32) / NARS Talc-Free Powder Blush in Orgasm ($17-$34 now $13-$27) — the regular size is sold out but you can grab the mini of this. Also I love their cream blush – The Multiple Cream Blush, Lip and Eye Stick ($39 now$31) – it’s just the right amount of shimmer!

I love Armani Luminous Silk foundation – I’ve used it for years! It’s light but has good coverage and gives you a beautiful dewy look. I’ve also use the YSL Touche Eclat concealer pen. It’s a good one to drop in your bag for touch-ups.
In a 2015 interview with Beauty Banter, Meghan described the NARS ‘Orgasm’ blush as the “perfect rosy flush.” With its peachy-pink hue and subtle flecks of gold shimmer, it’s especially flattering on warm-toned complexions.

Meghan shared more about the blush with Allure in 2014 —
“I use it on and off camera because it gives you a nice glow from within.”
Below, Meghan in May 2014 at the NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment Upfronts at The Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, New York City.
For no-foundation days, Meghan used to use a primer worn alone for as a great solution for a ‘no makeup’ look.
“I don’t wear foundation unless I’m filming so this is what I put on everyday after moisturizer to give my skin a dewy glow. It’s not sparkly, it’s true to its name… “illuminating” — Meghan Markle, Beauty Banter
For that flawless, glowing look, Meghan said she’s a fan of Laura Mercier’s Radiance Primer – the product has been updated to the Pure Canvas Primer – Illuminating ($25-$46 now $20-$37).

I love to mix this with a little bronzer for a glowy no-makeup look if I don’t feel like doing a full face of makeup.
Meghan has also been a fan of Beautyblender® –
ORIGINAL Beautyblender® Makeup Sponge ($20 now $16) / Beauty Blender Pro in black ($20 now $16) or shop the entire collection here.

More from Meghan in 2014 —
Only apply foundation to the spots you need it and spread it with a beautyblender. I never want to cover my freckles, so we just do a ‘wash’ of foundation in certain sections instead of over the entire face.” — Meghan Markle, BirchBox, October 2014
TIP: To clean your Beautyblender, I recommend using Dr. Bronner’s Pure-Castile Soup (a product Meghan has used). This item is available at most drugstores.

Another past favorite of Meghan’s is the Fresh – Sugar Lip Balm Hydrating Treatment ($26 now $21).

More from Beauty Banter, 2014 —
I have searched high and low and tried every kind of lip balm but this is the very best. Soft, kissable, buttery lips. I swear by it.” — Meghan Markle, BeautyBanter.com

Meghan has also been a long time fan of Bobbi Brown. Below Meghan and Bobbi in an Uber for an on-the-go makeup lesson using Bobbi Brown’s Retouching Pencils and Wands, New York City, 2016.
Shop the full collection of Bobbi Brown on Sephora here.
For Meghan’s Time100 photoshoot with Harry, the makeup artist used Charlotte Tilbury lipstick in Pillow Talk ($35 now $28) and Very Victoria (also $28 during the sale).

SKINCARE
For facial masks Meghan favors Tata Harper – the complete Multi-Masking set is $245 on the Tata Harper site. If you are looking to purchase some of the products to meet your needs you can pick them up in the sale. You can shop the entire Tata Harper collection here (20% off).

Resurfacing BHA Mask for Brightening and Dark Spots ($68 now $54) / Clarifying Pore AHA + BHA Mask with Salicylic Acid for Redness ($75 now $60) / Superkind Gentle AHA Radiance Mask for Skin Barrier Repair ($68 now $54)

Look for the products based on your own skincare needs. If you are looking for less expensive products I can recommend some based on what I’ve tried over the years (and I am known to be a “product junkie” because I have tried a lot!).
The Ordinary is a great brand at a reasonable price point. I have used their cleanser, moisturizer, toner and mask. Recently I tried their lip treatment and I really like it. However I still find myself going back to my trusted Aquafor lip balm (recommended by my dermetologist) My favorite from Ordinary is the cleanser and mask.
Another oldie but goodie loved item is Tatcha – Meghan loves the brand’s The Serum Stick Line-Smoothing Treatment & Touch Up Balm ($49 now $39) and The Dewy Skin Cream Plumping & Hydrating Refillable Moisturizer ($72 now $57)—(similar used on her wedding day). One other Tatcha product Meghan has mentioned in the past is the Luminous Dewy Skin Mist 2-in-1 Hydrator & Finishing Spray ($49 now $39) (similar used on her wedding day). Shop the entire Tatcha collection here.

If you are looking for a dry shampoo, Meghan favors IGK Direct Flight Multi-Tasking Dry Shampoo ($34 now $27).

I personally have never been a fan of dry shampoo – it just never worked for my fine hair. However, if it’s something you are looking for you might want to try one of these –
Living Proof Perfect hair Day (PhD) Dry Shampoo – it’s offered in a mini size ($16 now $13) or the standard size ($30 now $24). I’ve used Living Proof products and really like the shampoo, conditioner and hair spray. Another brand I’ve used and loved is Briogeo. Try their Scalp Revival Charcoal + Biotin Dry Shampoo ($25 now $20).

Years ago, back in the Tig days, Meghan shared on her Instagram in April 2015 that she favored Oribe products.

you may want to consider giving the brand’s Gold Lust Dry Shampoo ($52 now $41) a try. They also offer a smaller size to try ($26 now $20).

A reminder that Meghan’s podcast starts Tuesday, April 8th on Apple Podcasts and Spotify.

I don’t think I covered what Meghan wore in the above photo in any of my previous posts. In case I haven’t here are the details.
I believe Meghan is wearing the same off-white sweatshirt and leggings we saw her wear during With Love, Meghan episode 4. The sweatshirt has not yet been identified. The leggings could be from lululemon.

Her sneakers could be the Freda Salvador ‘Eda D’Orsay’ Sneaker ($295), which she wore back in February during the wildfire relief efforts. However, without a clear photo, they could also be the Freda Salvador ‘Eda D’Orsay’ style in white calf leather with shearling detailing ($350).
