Meghan just launched her brand-new podcast Confessions of a Female Founder, and if the premiere episode is any indication, we’re in for an unfiltered, heartfelt, and deeply inspiring ride.

Sitting down with Bumble founder Whitney Wolfe Herd, Meghan opens up about everything from royal baby photo calls to postpartum struggles, packaging stress, and those infamous 3 a.m. entrepreneur overthinking spirals (we’ve all been there, Meg).

In the premiere episode, Whitney brings up Meghan’s royal photo-call introducing baby Archie to the world. She recalls Meghan stepping out just two days after giving birth, perfectly styled in heels and a white dress, while the world watched.
I could barely face a doorbell delivery in a robe,” Whitney joked.
Meghan laughed—gracefully reminding us that some of the most poised moments in public are often some of the most challenging in private.
For the first time, Meghan also revealed that she experienced postpartum preeclampsia—a serious, rare condition she quietly navigated while still trying to “show up for people.” The moment was sobering, yet relatable to any woman who’s tried to juggle motherhood, health, and public expectations all at once.

Meghan also shared a glimpse into her current reality as a work-from-home mom. “Lili still naps,” she said, describing a scene where her daughter joins her Zoom calls, climbing into her lap during high-stakes business meetings. “I don’t want to miss drop-off. I don’t want to miss pick-up,” she said. A sentiment many mothers will instantly connect with.

The two women also dove into the dark side of public life, too. Whitney recalled seeing Meghan on every single newspaper and magazine cover in an airport newsstand in Ireland, calling it “a different beast.” Meghan acknowledged the scale of the attention but emphasized that the sting of criticism feels the same, no matter the platform.
There’s gonna be a point where you’re gonna take a hit… and you’re going to have to decide if you’re going to coward or if you’re going to rise above it,” Meghan said.
There’s also some powerful real talk about relationships and self-worth. Both women reflected on their past experiences and how learning to love themselves helped them finally find healthy love.
And just in case you thought her launch was all glitz and glam, Meghan reminded us it’s the small stuff that keeps her up at night—like box textures and tissue paper.
Someone said, ‘You don’t want to brand the outside of the box because of porch pirates,’” Meghan laughed. “I had never heard that before. What’s a porch pirate?”

Whitney offered a simple but powerful tool for those sleepless nights: the rule of fives. Will it matter in five minutes? Five hours? Five days? Five years? If not—let it go. Meghan, like the rest of us, is trying.
With the launch of As Ever, her Netflix series With Love, Meghan, and now this podcast, the Duchess is steadily building a thoughtful, purpose-driven brand—one rooted in grace and a sincere desire to connect, all shaped by a modern approach and timeless sense of style that feels both fresh and enduring.
As Meghan says —
When people feel disarmed, and they feel as though they’re just really with you… that’s when impact can really happen.”
Well Meghan, message received. And we’re all ears.
Have you listened to the podcast? If so, what did you think? Let me know in the comments.
