Tuesday night was one for the books — the Duke and Duchess of Sussex made a stylish and spirited appearance at Game 4 of the 2025 World Series at Dodger Stadium, supporting the home side, the Los Angeles Dodgers, against the Toronto Blue Jays.
They embraced the casual-cool sports vibe: Meghan wore a crisp white oversize shirt paired with dark pants and a bold Dodgers cap, while Harry paired a white tee with a navy blazer, dark pants and later his own Dodgers cap.
They were seated in premium front-row seats behind home plate, placing them among the best vantage points in the house. Baseball legend Sandy Koufax and his wife were sitting right behind them as well as Magic Johnson and his wife Cookie.
Adding an extra layer of fun, Meghan reportedly has a distant family connection to Dodgers star shortstop Mookie Betts, whose wife Brianna Hammonds met Meghan in London back in 2019 during the Red Sox–Yankees series. Our post from that game is here.
Below, Meghan hugs Mookie Betts ahead of the game in 2019.

According to The Boston Globe, Markle and Betts’ respective great-great-grandfathers, Jacob Betts and Joseph Betts, were next door neighbors on a Madison County, Ala., plantation, though it’s unclear if Jacob and Joseph had any relation.
Additionally, Markle’s great-great-aunt Katie married Betts’ great-great-uncle Richard Betts in 1920, making them distant cousins through marriage.
The Dodgers were defeated 6-2 by the Blue Jays, tying the series 2-2. Game 6 is tonight back at Dodger Stadium.

Today Meghan shared a new story to her Instagram. One is a photo of her and Harry with Magic and Cookie Johnson.

Another update from yesterday!
A Powerful Conversation with Altadena Girls
Meghan took on the role of interviewer for the latest issue of Town & Country, engaging in a heartfelt dialogue with 15-year-old Avery Colvert, founder of Altadena Girls, the teen-led nonprofit supporting girls affected by the wildfires in Los Angeles. Meghan praised Avery’s remarkable activism and candidly expressed that “if our daughter turns out to be anything like you, I’ll be the proudest mom.”

In their exchange, Avery reflected on stepping into community leadership as a teenager—“When you’re a teenager, everything feels like the biggest thing in the world.” Meanwhile, Meghan’s questions focused on both the tangible needs and deeper emotional landscape of recovery and rebuilding. The conversation reinforces Meghan’s commitment to causes close to her heart and adds rich context to her broader lifestyle and brand narrative.
