Episode 4: “How ’bout Them Apples?” opens with Meghan inviting her warm and wise friend—chef and author Samin Nosrat—into her Montecito kitchen. Their reunion is deeply heartfelt: Meghan serves Samin her grandmother’s beloved apple butter on sourdough toast with ricotta, alongside a thoughtful gift of personal lavashak (Persian fruit leather). Samin’s emotional response—“only my mom and grandma ever made this”—feels like one of the most authentic moments of the season.

Samin Nosrat is a chef, teacher, and bestselling author best known for her award-winning book Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat, which broke down the fundamentals of cooking into four essential elements. The book became a New York Times bestseller and later a hit Netflix documentary series, earning her international recognition for making the art of cooking approachable, joyful, and deeply personal.
A California native with Iranian heritage, Nosrat began her career at Alice Waters’ legendary Chez Panisse, where she fell in love with food’s ability to bring people together. Since then, she’s built a career championing home cooking, writing for The New York Times Magazine, and sharing her infectious enthusiasm for flavors and traditions.
This episode isn’t just about food—it’s a quiet ode to memory, tradition, and the power of thoughtfully shared flavors. It’s also a treasure trove of fashion moments, and I’ll be breaking down every look Meghan wears. Stay tuned for the style slideshow that follows!

First season was entertaining, I enjoy the company as well as the food on the show. Season two so far so good. I enjoy watching real people doing real things. Meghan is a woman who loves giving to others.

Hi SittingbythePond, yes I have a number of the houseware items previously identified and some are included in my post from season 1. This is helpful. Thank you for reaching out! Feel free to drop me an email anytime at susanc@whatmeghanwore.net – Susan
Hi Susan,
Happy to help, and looking forward to the homewares! I’m trying my best not to overlap with what’s already been done (do have a look and see if I’ve found anything different), but the season 1 homeware post does have some great ID work.
I cannot understand the fuss about Meghan.. I watched her Season 2 show I found it entertaining and I don’t focus on what she wears . I just want to watch the show and I like it. that’s all even though I read a lot of negative feedbacks about it I like the program.
Hi Jenny, thank you for sharing your perspective! Many of our followers find Meghan’s style really relatable, and for them, the fashion—and even the kitchen items—add another layer of enjoyment to the show. It’s less about fuss and more about appreciating the full picture of her lifestyle, which makes With Love, Meghan even more fun to watch.
The Carolina Herrera dress Duchess Meghan wore is so dreamy! Just gorgeous. ♥️ Her Doen dress is very chic too. I can’t say I’m a fan of crocs though. When you make crocs into brown clogs, it’s like a double no for me personally.
