Today Harry and Meghan joined William and Catherine for a walkabout in Windsor to view the floral memorial and greet the public. The joint appearance was unexpected.
A spokesman for the Wales’s said —
“The Prince of Wales invited the Duke and Duchess to join him and the Princess of Wales earlier.”

The thousands of people that showed up cheered loudly for the quartet as they made their way down the Long Walk.
Meghan takes a moment to bend down and chat with a young girl in the crowd.
William was bestowed a number of new titles on Friday during King Charles III’s speech, including Prince of Wales and Duke of Cornwall. Kate, as William’s wife, also received the same tiles including Princess of Wales, a titles we have not heard for some time. He also expressed his love for Harry and Meghan.
“As my Heir, William now assumes the Scottish titles which have meant so much to me. He succeeds me as Duke of Cornwall and takes on the responsibilities for the Duchy of Cornwall which I have undertaken for more than five decades. Today, I am proud to create him Prince of Wales, Tywysog Cymru, the country whose title I have been so greatly privileged to bear during so much of my life and duty. With Catherine beside him, our new Prince and Princess of Wales will, I know, continue to inspire and lead our national conversations, helping to bring the marginal to the centre ground where vital help can be given,” he said. “I want also to express my love for Harry and Meghan as they continue to build their lives overseas.”
According to reports, William reached out to Meghan and Harry shortly before he and Kate were due to go out.
It is really wonderful to see the quartet unite once again.
The four Royals left together to head back to Windsor Castle in the same car driven by William.
The Sussexes will remain in the United Kingdom, as the country undergoes a period of mourning for Queen Elizabeth ahead of her funeral, which will take place on September 19.
Meghan canceled a number of upcoming appearances including The Tonight Show on September 20th and a UN General Assembly visit. She has also delayed the next episode of her podcast.
We will end it with this quote from William’s statement about the Queen today —
“My grandmother said that grief was the price we pay for love. All of the sadness we will feel in the coming weeks will be a testament to the love we felt for our extraordinary Queen.”

Do please identify the dress she wore on the walkabout. My husband just died, and we will be having a memorial in early November, and I would like to find that dress in my size for it. Thanks in advance if you can help in the next few weeks.

Hi Jacqueline – we haven’t seen any information about the dress. To me it looks like it could be Emilia Wickstead. I’m thinking it is an older style that she had in her closet since she wore a lot of older pieces during the week. Thanks, Susan

Kudos to Meghan for looking so effortless and put together when the Sussexes were invited at the 11th hour. She seemed very nervous and very deer in the headlights at times, I don’t think she ever expected to participate in this kind of thing ever again when she and Harry moved to California. But people were clearly happy to see her.
How lovely to see the four of them together again and they all look good.
It is tough losing a parent and the Queen became “Mum” after the unfortunate passing of Princess Di so, the Princes must be devastated.
I don’t mind the dress but I’m a bit confused by her yellow gold bling. Doesn’t protocal call for colourless jewellery in mourning?
We’ve never heard of any protocol – ? It was so last minute. I think her keeping it minimal was fine.
I wonder if this is just her day to day watch and bracelet stack so she wore it out of habit, which seems reasonable enough especially if they joined in at short notice. I noticed she didn’t wear the watch for the rest of the engagements, so perhaps that was a deliberate choice for whatever reason. I know personally I wear my watch everyday and have to make a deliberate choice not to wear it.
