Two nights in a row of Meghan on TV – what a great week!
While we knew well in advance about Meghan and Harry’s appearance at the TIME100 event on Tuesday evening, none of us had any idea that the Duchess would drop in on America’s Got Talent finale last night to support a contestant with a name that’s near and dear to her heart – vocalist Archie Williams.

Meghan and Harry have apparently been watching this season’s AGT from the start and fell in love with the crooner instantly.
“Just wanted to let you know that we’ve been so moved by your story and we’ve been cheering you on every week, and it’s not just because we’re partial to the name,” she said. “So, a very special message to you that I’ll probably be saying all of my life, but on this night it’s specifically for you: Archie, we are proud of you and are rooting for you, we can’t wait to see what you do. We’re in your corner. Have a good night.”

Meg wore a shirt from Argent in beige. She paired the top with black leather pants, her go-to Monica Vinader and Cartier bracelets, and her Verse Jewelry Love Letters One Letter Necklace with the letter “A” for, of course, her Archie – son Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor. She was first spotted wearing this necklace only two months after his birth when she attended Wimbledon in July 2019. We’re also thinking Meghan wore Princess Diana’s Cartier Tank Francaise watch – previously seen on Meghan in July and August of this year.
Another familiar style – a messy bun with face-framing tendrils – completed the look.

And, in one of possibly the only good parts about COVID, we are so fortunate to keep getting little snippets and glimpses of Harry and Meghan’s Santa Barbara home. This time, Meghan is seated on a cream-colored sofa in front of gorgeous hydrangeas, Diptyque candles, and a stack of coffee table books – with the most prominent spine reading, not shockingly, “Women.”

And, even though he got a good luck nod from the Duchess, Archie Williams didn’t win AGT – that honor went to spoken word poet Brandon Leake. But maybe what Williams won was even more powerful – not only a shoutout from the Duchess, but a chance to share his powerful testimony of being wrongly convicted of aggravated rape and attempted murder. Williams, after serving 12 years in prison for a crime he didn’t commit, reached out to The Innocence Project, which decades later helped overturn his conviction in March 2019 after Williams had been imprisoned for 36 years. During his incarceration he found solace in singing, he said on the show.
When I was faced with dark times, I would pray and sing,” he said. “This is how I got peace.”

Now a detailed look at what Meghan wore!
UPDATE 1 February 2021: Apologies for the confusion. We originally thought Meghan wore a shirt from Victoria Beckham, as it turns out, Argent confirmed on their Instagram that Meghan wore a shirt from their collection.
It is the brand’s Solid Collared Shirt in beige, $168.

Meghan also had on her two favorite bracelets, her Cartier ‘Love’ bangle bracelet in gold and her Monica Vinader Linear Friendship Bracelet in gold, $175.

It appears she may have been wearing a third bracelet in some of the views on the video. At one point it appeared to look like the Cartier ‘Junte Un Cous’ bracelet. Susan C. seems to recall seeing Meghan wearing this bracelet years ago and will look into that further.

Meghan does own a similar style from Giles & Brother, the Railroad Spike cuff bracelet in gold. We’re not sure which exact version Meghan owns, but Susan C. is leaning towards the ‘Skinny’ version which is 1/4 inch thick vs. the ‘Tiny’ version which is .9 inches thick.
The first version of the bracelet we show is the Tiny Railroad Cuff, $70. It is the brand’s signature cuff scaled down to a “tiny” version. The bracelet is 3/32″ thick. The cuff can be easily sized by gently squeezing or pulling open and comes in two sizes – small and medium.

SKINNY RAILROAD SPIKE The Skinny Railroad Spike, $105, is 1/4″ thick and is available in small through x-large.

Meghan’s watch was a little more visible in last night’s video. It’s looking more and more like she is wearing Princess Diana’s Cartier Tank Francaise watch, seen on Diana in the late 90’s. Susan C. wrote about the watch in this post here.

We were unable to tell which pair of earrings Meghan had on. They appear to be a larger gold pair, perhaps something we have not seen before.
One follower suggested that perhaps Meghan is wearing a pair that belonged to Princess Diana. Upon searching for Diana in gold earrings, there are many choices. Susan C. will be taking a closer look at these over the coming days to see if anything might be a similar match.
And now for some of Meghan’s home decor items seen in the video.
The candle seen just over Meghan’s right shoulder is by Diptyque — Tubéreuse/Tuberose Candle, $68.

The scent is a warm scented Tubéreuse candle featuring notes of the tuberose, a flower known to deploy its captivating sensuality at dusk.
Some of the books seen over Meghan’s left shoulder are as follows:
Annie Leibovitz – A Photographer’s Life, $65, WOMEN – The National Geographic Image Collection $33, The Black Godfather – The Clarence Avant Story, Wood and Iron: Industrial Interiors, $44, Profiles Photography by Marc Hom, $93.

We haven’t been able to clearly ID the remaining books just yet. Be sure to check back for updates!
The black and white vertical stripe vase has also not yet been identified.

She is glowing
This is wonderful! Archie Willams’ story is amazing and inspiring, and i applaud her bringing attention to his story story.
The outfit is a perfect combo of classic and modern and the jewelry echoes the classic element. But especially, the watch nearly made me tear up. It’s so good to see it and know the late Princess of Wales would delight in her daughter-in-law wearing it….and it’s particularly beautiful in its own right.
