In honor of Mother’s Day today, Kelly McKee Zajfen, co-founder of Alliance of Moms, shared a photo of her and Meghan sporting Community Motherhood shirts as part of a campaign to support “LA’s expectant and parenting foster youth, which helps provide critical services, education, resources and advocacy so they can build a better future for themselves and their families.”

In other recent Royal news, Meghan has been spotted out recently on a hike in California as well as dinner Friday night in Montecito.
Last weekend photos revealed the Duchess out with friends hiking including long time friends Markus Anderson and Heather Dorak. The illustration below shows Meghan’s outfit. (We will not be using the actual photos in this post as we feel they are too intrusive.*)
Meghan wore her Victoria Beckham ‘Navigator Power’ Sunglasses In Gold and J. Crew Perfect lightweight jacket. Both items are past season.
J. Crew offers an updated version of the jacket for $109 here. Victoria Beckham sunglasses, similar here, $90.
She first wore the jacket in March 2021 during the Oprah interview. The sunglasses were first spotted in September 2019 at the US Open.
Her boots are from Merrell – the ‘Azura’ Waterproof Hiking Boots in Espresso/Apricot, $165 (past season, no longer available). Updated style available here.
Meghan also wore the Maya Brenner X Abigail Spencer ‘The Clarity’ Retreat Necklace, $495.
It appear that she is wearing ankle weight an a weighted workout belt under her t shirt. We will update the post with IDs for her hat and bandana if we should find those. Her leggings are a little harder to find as there are no distinct logos or details – she is fond of Lululemon though. Her t-shirt is another item that may be harder to find.
*NOTE: To clear up confusion – there seems to be some controversy around the photos that were taken by a paparazzi of Meghan. The photographer, Clint Brewer, who sold the photos to Backgrid, revealed in an Instagram post that the photos were not in anyway staged — “I wish these photos were staged, would make my job easier.”
Today, TMZ released photos of Meghan and Harry out to dinner this past Friday night in Montecito. Again, we will not be using the photos as they appear intrusive.
Meghan wore a new dress from Heidi Merrick – the ‘Napoleon’ dress in chocolate, $475.
She paired the dress with sandals from Hermes, the ‘Oran’ style in the Étoupe colorway, $660.
Her bag is the Cesta Collective Bucket bag in Neutral Mélange, $695.

I appreciate your following Meaghan, whom I admire greatly. One can admire both Kate and Meghan and understand they are in very different positions, with different concerns and responsibilities. I fully respect not posting photos that were taken during private outings, possibly by paparazzi-type photographers.
Love the use of illustrations in this post. I very much support not including the photographs but appreciate the post. Thank you!
I came here to say this too. I love the illustrations. It’s a different style of reporting.
I love the sketches, but please do not say that you think the photos are intrusive and then go on to ID’d every part of someone’s outfit as if that action isn’t intrusive, too.
Without the photos, you wouldn’t be able to ID the items and you wouldn’t have the sketch.
It seems a bit hypocritical to me. We love the site, but realistically, you need those photos to ID what is being worn.
Hi Withheld – we do understand that the photos are needed in order to ID items, however, by not reposting the actual photos we feel this is a better solution to those of our followers who would like to know what she wore. The photos end up on social media and are hard to “not see” – anyone can look them up – we are doing our best not to promote the publications that are publishing the photos. Thanks, Susan C
I mostly agree with the poster but suggesting it’s hypocritical is unfair because you’re only trying to do what you think is the right thing to do. My view is that it’s not only more time consuming for us to have to search around for the photos but it also gives those trash sites more traffic. The illustrations are lovely but we also want to see the actual photo because we all love Meghan! The paps are going to go after them either way as long as the rags will pay them. They aren’t doing it for us. Maybe you’ll reconsider but either way you’re doing a great job with this site. Take care <3

Another reason we don’t always include the actual photos is because we don’t have the rights to them. We have contracts with several photographers and agencies from which we purchase licensed photos from. If those accounts do not have the actual photos to purchase, we can’t post the photos as we would be liable for copyright infringement (and potentially be sued). We’ve been very careful around this over the years. I hope you understand this is why we’ve been using illustrations by Amelia for our social media accounts and blog posts. You may have seen accounts on Instagram, for example, that were taken down because of copyright infringement. So many accounts on Instagram use copyrighted photos that they don’t have the rights to (they didn’t purchase the actual photos). I don’t think people understand the ramifications of doing that.
