Prior to attending the Global Citizen Live Festival today in Central Park, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex started off their day with a visit to the UN to meet with Deputy Secretary-General Amina Mohammed.
The meeting focused on “how to engage on issues we care about deeply: climate action, women’s economic empowerment, mental well-being, youth engagement and vaccine equity”.

The meeting comes as The United Nations is currently in the middle of the annual General Assembly gathering of world leaders.
Meghan has been involved with the U.N. women’s agency, becoming an “advocate for political participation and leadership” back in 2015.

Deputy Secretary-General commended the couple’s efforts to promote vaccine equity worldwide and hailed priorities they and the U.N. share, including climate, women’s economic empowerment, youth engagement and mental health.
“It was a lovely meeting,” Meghan said as the couple left the U.N. headquarters.

Of course, as always, our look at what the Duchess wore this morning.
Meghan wore a camel color coat by Max Mara — the ‘Lilia’ cashmere coat in tobacco, $5,590. It’s also available at Neiman’s here.
We were thinking her blouse was the Victoria Beckham one that she wore for her appearance on America’s Got Talent a year ago. It was suggested that her blouse could also be from Max Mara. After looking at several images, we can see the collar on Meghan’s blouse matches this Max Mara blouse – Silk Crepe Classic Shirt, $695. Should we find additional images or information we will update the post.

UPDATE 26 September: The Duchess wore a pair of matching camel color, flat front, trousers.
One of our followers (who wishes to remain anonymous) suggested her trousers are the Max Mara High-Waisted Wide Leg Trousers in beige, $423.22 now $286.58. The trouser in the image below are shown in the rose colorway however the trousers are available in a camel/beige as well. The flow of the fabric and flat front style closely matches that of the pair Meghan is wearing.
The trousers are described as being crafted from a Viscose and Acetate blend fabric. They are a flat front with a zipper/hook-and-eye closure .
We also found these from Max Mara — the S High -Wasited Biavo Flare Pants, reg. $ 470.82 – NOW $ 124.30. The color of this style trouser is a closer match however these seem to be a more slim fit in the thighs and not as loose as Meghan’s appear.
The pants are a virgin wool stretch with a flat front and a zipper/hook-and-eye closure.
Initially it was suggested that Meghan wore the Max Mara wide leg pant in camel, $895, however this style trouser has pleats and we are not seeing any pleats on the pair Meghan is wearing. The pant is 100% camel hair.

Her shoes are from Manolo Blahnik — the BB pump in camel suede, $665. She wore the shoes in the video with Melissa McCartney on her birthday.
Once again, Meghan wore her staple jewelry pieces. The Cartier Tank watch (Princess Diana’s), Jennifer Meyer 18k gold bezel tennis bracelet ($3000), Cartier ‘Love’ bracelet and her Birks ‘Snowflake’ rose gold and diamond ring.
She wore one additional bracelet we have not seen before. It looks like it has a bar and may be engraved. We’re thinking it could be a be engraved with Archie and Lili. See the image below – it is the bracelet just before the watch.
We also noticed that Meghan is wearing are Alemdara ‘Altan Hand of Hamsa’ necklace, £450 ($616).
Meghan’s earrings appear to be gold hoops. We’re wondering if perhaps they could be from Adina Reyter – Adina Reyter – the 15mm Tube Hoops, $350. This is another designer that the Duchess favors.
A couple people have inquired about Meghan’s black face mask that she wore inside the UN.
It is a surgical mask with a scalloped edge.

We also found some here, PURE-MSK Surgical Micro-fiber Face Mask, 10 for $22. They come in black or white.
Finally, Meghan carried her carried her laptop in a case from Smythson, $650.
Yeah I agree with the others, this outfit is really not good. Although I thought her make was great and I liked her hair pulled up.
Unfortunately this outfit is a fail for me. The pants are very unflattering, a different style of top might have looked better, some colour to brighten the overall look, too beige.
If you have the money to wear an outfit costing several thousand dollars, then you can afford a tailor. It is so annoying when MM’s trousers are not hemmed properly. Please hem pants to proper length. No matter how much money it cost, dragging pants ruins the entire look of the ensemble. IMHO

This is so disappointing, the cut and fit of every single item is wrong.
That coat and the way she is wearing it makes her look short and stumpy. The pants are atrocious. I don’t even like her hair, is it the style with a mask that looks off? I don’t know but this is just … disappointing.
I like the monochromatic theme she’s utilizing in her last few engagements, and it’s really nice to see the Duchess and Duke out in pubic again. Like others, I’ve noticed the poor fit of some of her clothing, and yet, that isn’t a new criticism. As her body continues to adjust post-pregnancy, I think she’ll be more comfortable in her clothes and they’ll fit better as well, and she will have recovered her commendable poise.

Hopefully this doesn’t break your posting rules, but I sympathize with her! I agree the fit is not right. Having had a baby a few weeks before Meghan I am still so frustrated going into my closet every day and finding nothing seems to fit. And going to the stores and feeling the same. And something that worked last week is not working today. I do know she has resources to help her with these problems but I’m sure it is still hard!!
The blouse she wore for AGT wasn’t from Victoria Beckham it was by Argent. The brand confirmed it as well. I was gonna suggest she rewore the same shirt but the buttons on it were much more prominent.

This might be the worst look I’ve seen on the Duchess. These pants fit so poorly, the shirt looks sloppy, and the coat is hanging off of her. None of it fits, none of it flatters. I like camel/tobacco combination, but this is just lifeless and matronly. Imagine how smart one of her classic trenches could have been over a camel turtleneck and wool pants or skirt.
Short waisted women should never tuck in or wear pleated pants.

This outfit is a total mess of things that dont fit properly and which are totally the wrong style. A tighter top might have worked. Or something that hangs loose over those dreadful trousers. It is a long time since I saw an outfit so totally wrong and unflattering. On anybody.

The trousers you suggested as an ID are the wrong color – they are described as “rosa cipria” or rose color. The fabric seems like a possible match though. Perhaps if this pair came in more of a camel/beige, but I haven’t found any others yet. Thanks again!!! – Susan 🙂
The fit of those trousers is horrible, they are not tailored to fit her body. I’m not sure what the intention was with this style but all I can say is bunchy, beige and blah!
