Meghan wore a navy and white outfit for today’s Trooping the Colour event.
Below a photo of Meghan and Harry on route to the Palace taken by royal fan Emily Sevenoaks.

A playful moment with Savannah Phillips (daughter of Peter Phillips, Princess Anne’s son) and Mia and Lena Tindall (daughters of Zara Tindall, Princess Anne’s daughter).
The Queen made an appearance on the balcony of Buckingham Palace, first with the Duke of Kent and then later with senior working royals.
We are loving the photos of the Cambridge children — Prince George, Prince Louis and Princess Charlotte — riding in one of the carriages with the Duchess of Cambridge and Duchess of Cornwall.
The view looking down the Mall at the palace.
There were enormous crowds for this year’s event, kicking off the Platinum Jubilee.
Below a look at senior working royals with Her Majesty — Harry and Meghan did not appear on the balcony of the palace today. They were however at Horse Guard’s Parade in the General Major’s Office along with the rest of the royal family.
Prince Louis could not contain his excitement!

Another look at the flyover.
At one point, Louis can be seen covering his ears during the fly over and doing his impersonation of Edvard Munch’s painting The Scream.
Princess Eugenie shared this image on her Instagram today – the family on the rooftop of St. James Palace for the flyover.
She is wearing a chiffon and lace dress from Self-Portrait.

One last look at today – we are loving this photo!
Our quick look at what Meghan wore today —
The Duchess is wearing a hat by milliner Stephen Jones. It is the designer’s ‘Granville’ style in white with a navy bow.

Another look at the hat.

Thanks to Laura @solidmoonlight, for the tip!
We’re thinking she may wearing the ‘Barwick’ dress in navy by Roland Mouret. You may recall Meghan first wore the dress in 2018 just before her an Harry’s wedding.

Meghan always looks great in these boatneck/off-the-shoulder necklines. Absolutely love the hat in combination with this dress, and the cheeky photos of her with the kids!
I love this hat and dress. I’m a big fan of navy so this suits my preferences!
I think as it was a re-wear she would have known it’s a comfortable dress.
She’s only human so I imagine she had plenty of nerves coming back to the UK and seeing her husband’s family again so a trusted, comfortable dress is the best choice. Plus it’s a beauty!
The hat is so chic and it just elevates the whole outfit. When black seems too harsh or somber, navy is super classy and just right. She has always worn the color well. I love it! Im glad they went to London for the jubilee and got to spend some time with family. I wish they were still there but understand that they didnt want that sort of life.
I think adults can decide for themselves what is appropriate to wear. Wear whatever you like and she can wear what she likes. I liked this dress the first two times, but I love the hat. I think it looks better on her than on the mannequin. It looks different and it sold out quickly. It’s a great hat.
Trooping the Color is definitely the time for ladies to bring out their statement hats ( like Ascot) and Meghan does not disappoint with this blue and white number.
However I don’t believe the dress is appropriate for a daytime event because it is off the shoulder. In my opinion, revealing shoulders should be saved for evening wear.
I’ve been following the Royal family since the 70s and I don’t recall any other ladies wearing off the shoulder dresses to this event.
Didn’t Meghan wear an off the shoulder blush dress at her first Trooping of the colors? Its her signature.
Hi Shar, She wore Carolina Herrera for her first Trooping in 2018. It was a peachy-blush color, slightly off the shoulder. There was controversy then, but we found images of Sophie wearing very wide, off the shoulder-like outfits in the past on the balcony. There is no fashion protocol for the Royal Family. They can wear what they want. In this case, she was not going to be appearing on the balcony of BP so it really doesn’t matter anyway. Thanks, Susan
Oh yes I remember Susan. I was definitely defending her not putting her down. I love her style.
Shar, It’s all good! 🙂
Looking stunning and cute as a button!
The Navy hat is lovely, very chic. Fabulous that the Duchess wore a rewear. This Navy dress is pretty, but I don’t like the waterfall feature hemline, but that is my personal taste. I love the shoulder and bodice area’s, very becoming, the off the shoulder feature is elegant.
Princess Anne’s son is Peter, not Mike.
Hi Nancy – thank you! In my rush to get the post up I was thinking Mike Tindall vs Peter Phillips! 🙂 – Susan
Normally I love Meghan’s clothing and accessories, but that hat is a total miss. It seems like the maker was going for a statement piece; well, it does make a statement, but not in a good way. WAY too big and awkward looking!
Jenny I completely agree, I just don’t get this hat?!! Seeing the models helped me see what all its about & all its various design details BUT I still just don’t get it or like it. On the other hand, her dress re-wear was fantastic!!
Peter Phillips is Savannah’s father.
Thanks Jayne – I inadvertently put Mike thinking Mike Tindall!
Such wonderful coverage! Thank you! And such beautiful, happy pictures. Her dress and hat choices are superb
