This afternoon Meghan and Harry visited QuestScope Youth Center at the Za’atari refugee camp, home to displaced Syrians, near Mafraq in northern Jordan.

The couple spent time with displaced families and listening to their stories firsthand. The visit was quiet, focused, and centered on the people living there.
Below the couple listen to a group of musicians.
Another look as the Duke and Duchess clap along to the music.
The couple met with children, spoke with parents, and learned about the daily realities facing families who have been forced from their homes. The conversations were direct and personal. No grandstanding. Just showing up and paying attention.

Jordan holds particular meaning for the Sussexes. Prince Harry has worked in the region before, and Jordan has long played a key role in supporting refugees from neighboring countries. The nation continues to host large numbers of displaced families, many of whom have lived in camps for years.
Meghan kicks a soccer ball around with some of the children at the center.

For Meghan, this visit aligns with the advocacy she’s consistently supported — women, children, and community stability. The Duchess has spoken often about the long-term impact displacement has on families, especially young girls. In settings like this, those issues aren’t abstract. They’re visible in real time.
The Sussexes spent time in conversation rather than delivering lengthy remarks. They asked questions. They heard concerns about education, healthcare, and the challenges of raising children in temporary conditions that often stretch into years.

The couple look at paintings during their visit.

A look at what Meghan wore for this afternoon’s engagement.

Meghan’s t-shirt is from Zara — Cotton Short Sleeve T-Shirt in Khaki, $19.

Below are additional options to get the look.
J.Crew Vintage jersey classic-fit crewneck T-shirt, $26 / Madewell The Relaxed Tee in Vintage Jersey, $65 /. Everlane The Box-Cut Tee in Essential Cotton, $23 w/an extra 25% off at checkout / Quince Cotton Modal Crew Neck Swing Tee, $15

Her button up shirt is from With Nothing Underneath, The Boyfriend 100% Fine Poplin in white, $150.

Here are some additional affordable styles to choose from — Everlane Everyday Shirt in Silky Cotton, $98 / J.Crew ‘Jules’ classic-fit shirt in cotton poplin, $98

The trousers she wore are the Jenni Kayne ‘Riley’ Trouser in Safari, $225. Please note, according to several people who purchased the trouser, the color is more of a green khaki color in person.

UPDATE 3/9: Meghan’s shoes are from Vince — the Marin boat shoe in likely the Olive Wood colorway, $140 with more sizes available on Zappos here.
Meghan wearing the shoe.

NOTE: We initially thought that Meghan was wearing the Olive Wood colorway however I recently received the shoes in both the Elmwood and Olive Wood and took photos in direct sunlight to compare. Below – Olive Wood on the left, Elmwood on the right.

From the photos I took compared to the photos of Meghan in the shoe, it looks like she is wearing Elmwood—or so I thought. Then I saw a photo from Poshmark tonight of someone selling the Olive Wood color (below).

Below is the stock photo of the shoe in Olive Wood.

Either way, they are a great pair of shoes no matter what color you choose.
I haven’t found her belt yet. It is a brown suede style with a gold buckle.

She wore minimal jewelry – just her Cartier ‘Love’ bracelet and her gold wedding band.
At the end of their visit to the Za’atari Refugee Camp, Meghan and Harry made a stop at a hospital in Amman, Jordan, where they met with medical evacuees from Gaza, many of whom were brought out for treatment after being seriously injured in the ongoing conflict.

The couple’s charitable organization, Archewell Philanthropies, has been involved in supporting medical evacuation efforts that help children affected by the violence receive care outside the conflict zone.
This part of the trip highlighted another layer of their humanitarian focus — not just hearing stories of displacement but connecting with individuals who are on the road to recovery and seeing firsthand the impact of conflict on civilians.
Meghan wore the same Jenni Kayne trousers again and the black sandals she had on earlier today that have not yet been identified.
Her blouse is from Heidi Merrick — Marish Top – Black Gauze, $275.

She first wore the top back in March 2024 while in Uvalde, Texas.

UPDATE 2/26: Meghan’s sandals are from Zara — Ankle Strap Heeled Sandals in black leather, $80.

I’ll be back here tomorrow with the second and final day of Harry and Meghan’s visit in Jordan.

I love seeing the Sussexes out doing their humanitarian & philanthropic work. Unfortunately, I have to agree with others that Duchess Meghan’s outfit is underwhelming. I don’t really like the colors, the boat shoes, or how wrinkled her pants are. Love her and her work though!
J’aime que ses tenues ne prennent pas le dessus sur ce bel engagement.
Les images sont très fortes. Beau voyage
Its great to see them back out & about!! I’m so glad to see her wearing minimal jewelry for the day, it seems way more sensitive to the current surroundings & situations; I know it may simply be her style, her “thing” (hey we’ve all got one lol!) to usually pile it on but it just sometimes seems jarring considering the circumstances…
I agree that the pants look too long with the flats and are too wrinkly. And I dislike the flats entirely.
Delighted to see Meghan and Harry on this type of visit again, I’ve missed it ! They always seem so comfortable and involved…
As for the look, the only thing I like is the black blouse, everything else seems disorganized. The cut of the trousers also looks odd, but perhaps that’s due to the fabric ? The main thing of course is not the clothes but the visit itself.😉
The t-shirt and the pants color wise look great because I think she’s an Autumn, but doesn’t look cohesive with the white shirt over, as it kind of looks doctor-y. The pants also don’t fit correctly unfortunately plus the wrinkle issue 🙁 I think she might do better in a low rise pant instead of high waisted. The loafers are a cute choice.
She looks great in the colors but why are her pants always too long? It is so weird. I assume there must be tailors in Montecito.
Anony, Since she is wearing flats the pants appear longer. She switches to heels at their next stop so my guess is that’s why she didn’t have them hemmed shorter. Thanks, Susan
I thought that as well, and that is what a normal person would do. But she is not a normal person now, she is a Duchess. And as such, she is under more scrutiny. It looks slovenly to have those dragging hems all the time. Kate doesn’t do this. Perhaps she needs some tailoring tricks to make her hems more adaptable.
I fully agree and I too have wondered why she rarely has her clothes tailored?
Pour ma part, vu l’occasion, je trouve que c’est être décent devant ces victimes de ne pas montrer qu’on est plus attentionné à avoir un look parfait. Je pense qu’elle sait très bien ce qu’elle fait.
I love these photos and your write up about these events!! It looks like her and Harry are having a wonderful time interacting with the children. While I love Meghan’s look at this event, I’m not wild about how wrinkled the pants have become over the course of the day.
