For their final stops in Jordan on Thursday, Harry and Meghan stepped into spaces that require both courage and compassion: an addiction rehabilitation center and later, a cancer hospital. It was a day about honesty, resilience, and reminding people they are never alone in their fight.

The couple began their day at a rehabilitation center supporting individuals recovering from addiction — including women leaders working to break stigma and build stronger support systems.
Harry, as he has done before, spoke openly and directly about addiction and mental health. His message? There is no shame in struggling. And more importantly, there is no shame in seeking help.
He spoke candidly about emotional pain and the importance of addressing it rather than burying it — something that has long been a thread through his advocacy work. He listened closely to the stories shared by those in recovery and praised the bravery it takes to confront addiction head-on.
Meghan spent time with female leaders and participants, engaging in thoughtful conversations about empowerment, community support, and removing stigma. It’s clear she understands that sustainable change comes from within communities — and especially from women leading the way.

Later in the day, the Duke and Duchess visited a cancer center, where they met with patients — including children — along with medical staff and families.

They took their time. They sat with families. They spoke quietly with patients. They listened.
Meghan was especially engaged with young patients, offering warmth and encouragement in that steady, grounded way she has. Harry, equally at ease, connected with both patients and staff, expressing admiration for the work being done and the strength shown by those undergoing treatment.
Afterwards the couple met with Princess Basma bint Talal, King Abdullah’s aunt, at the Jordanian Hashemite Fund for Human Development
The Princess is seated next to Meghan (on the right) below.
Princess Basma, the sister of the late King Hussein, has decades of experience championing grassroots development initiatives across Jordan, particularly through her work with the Jordanian Hashemite Fund for Human Development. Her presence alongside Harry and Meghan underscored the shared priorities between the Sussexes and Jordan’s royal leadership — especially when it comes to community-based solutions, women’s empowerment, and healthcare access.
Conversations reportedly focused on sustainable development efforts and the importance of investing in local leadership — something Meghan has consistently highlighted in her global work.
It was a thoughtfully coordinated engagement that reflected mutual respect between families and foundations working toward similar goals.
Now my look at what Meghan wore for the final engagements today.

Meghan stayed in the same outfit from the first engagement of the day—covered in my post here—black long sleeve t-shirt, black trousers, vintage Chanel Black wool fabric with velvet ztoe cap pumps and a coat from Zara.

Bravo à toute votre équipe Suzan, comme d’habitude vos débriefing sont excellents, ce voyage était tellement intéressant ❤️
I love Duchess Meghan but I don’t think that cape-like coat should’ve been worn with wide leg pants. The proportions look off. Anyway, I love seeing Prince Harry & Duchess Meghan doing their impactful charitable works and I can’t wait to see what work they’ll be doing for the rest of the year. I adore them both.
What a wonderful and heartfelt visit, highlighting so many who are helping others and those receiving that help. I really like how you wrote about these visits, you pointed out how thoughtful and caring Meghan and Harry were while hearing stories of heartache and resilience. They really are putting “compassion into action”.
