Meghan, With Harry In Tow, Dresses Casual For Surprise Get Lit Zoom Call

Meghan made a surprise appearance this weekend!

Meghan – and Harry, too – dropped in on a Zoom gathering of youth poets on Saturday to recognize Black History Month.

The students were surprised when the Sussexes joined the Zoom call. The youth poets were gathered as part of the educational group Get Lit – Words Ignite, which is a poetry curriculum taught in more than 100 schools across Los Angeles. Get Lit is releasing a virtual anthology which celebrates all Black authors and poets, created in support of the Black Lives Matter movement and aiming to “inspire new perspectives, spread understanding, celebrate great art, and highlight the multitudes of injustice” in the world.

For the appearance, Meghan – who was inside her Montecito home – wore a light blue button-up shirt and her hair long and wavy.

While on the call, the Duke and Duchess talked about the importance of poetry in culture, and, according to an attendee, Meghan spoke about the “ripple effect of a single voice” and how poetry has moved her. Describing the experience as “surreal,” the attendee said the Sussexes were on the call for 45 minutes and that the couple actually took time to learn the biographical information of all of the kids on the call.

Unfortunately due to the quality of the image, we have not yet been able to identify the shirt Meghan is wearing. There are a number of brands that she favors, such as Misha Nonoo, Anthropologie, With Nothing Underneath, Madewell and J. Crew to name a few.

Meghan also appears to be wearing a small necklace which we are unable to see clearly in the images. If we were to take a wild guess as to what the necklace might be, we would chose her Adina Reyter, Solid Pavé Teardrop Necklace, 17″, $498.
