It’s been a fabulous week in the world of Meghan—and not just because my As Ever Rosé is arriving tomorrow (chill the glasses!). From high-profile Instagram shoutouts to dreamy summer wine moments, here’s your roundup of what’s new, what’s trending, and what’s making us all raise a glass.
Shonda Rhimes Gives Meghan a Royal Shoutout
Yes, that Shonda Rhimes—the powerhouse behind Scandal, Bridgerton, and basically your entire Netflix watchlist—took a moment to show Meghan some major love on Instagram this week.
Leave it to Shonda to steal the spotlight with a perfectly playful Instagram Reel. In the video, the queen of television takes us from inside her house to her backyard chicken coop, all while captioning her glamorous distraction of the day:
I should be writing… but I’d rather be playing Meghan Markle.”
A cheeky nod to that unforgettable moment from Meghan and Harry’s Oprah interview, when the couple revealed they rescued hens and gave them a loving home.
And guess who saw it? Meghan herself. The Duchess slid into the comments with a rare and delightful reply:
I see you, Shonda! Come play anytime.”
It was a short and sweet message, but fans went wild. Meghan doesn’t often comment publicly on Instagram, so this little interaction sent the internet into a minor frenzy. Shonda and Meghan—now that’s a power duo we’d love to see more of.
Meghan Sends Birthday Love (with Wine + Peaches!) to Her Friend
Yesterday—Meghan shared an Instagram Story sending heartfelt birthday goodies to her inner circle: three bottles of As Ever 2023 Napa Valley Rosé, juicy peaches, fresh white flowers, and a sweet white heart, beautifully arranged in a wooden box with the tune “Please Mr. Postman” as the backdrop.
She captioned the moment:
“Sending birthday love (both near and far) to my ladies ❤️”
One shoutout came from her friend Jamie Kern Lima, co-founder of IT Cosmetics revealing that it was her birthday:
“@meghan thank you for the most magical birthday basket! Our friendship is a gift as is your beautiful soul!”

This birthday drop speaks to Meghan’s personal touch and the joy she ingrains in her brand.
As Ever Rosé Is Landing—and It’s a Whole Mood
Fans have been receiving their bottles of the now-iconic As Ever Rosé throughout the week—and the vibes are immaculate.
Even Meghan’s friend, Heather Dorak shared her excitement over the wine —
The official As Ever Instagram account has been sharing dreamy, lifestyle-rich images of Meghan embracing summer in the most Meghan way possible:
A sun-drenched afternoon tea moment with her rescue pup Mia, dressed in white pants and an airy off-white blouse.
A poolside scene complete with fresh berries, a chilled bottle of As Ever, and a handwritten note that reads:
“Summer Essentials: sunshine, good friends, As Ever rosé.”
A recent post featuring Meghan holding a stunning bouquet of flowers, wearing a soft beige cashmere sweater and ivory trousers—the ultimate lesson in quiet luxury.
These photos are soft, authentic, and perfectly in line with Meghan’s California-cool aesthetic. As for me? My bottle of As Ever arrives tomorrow, just in time for the weekend with friends. Stay tuned for my own dreamy photo shoot—dogs, rosé, and maybe a linen outfit.
Meanwhile, Prince Harry Is Out Changing the World
This week Harry has been in Angola doing powerful work with The HALO Trust.

According to People, on July 16, 2025, the Duke of Sussex made a solo visit to Angola and took part in a safety class for children in a remote village near the country’s largest minefield. He repeated life-saving messages in Portuguese like “Stop, go back, tell your elders”, embodying his mother’s legacy by actively teaching young ones how to stay safe.
Harry also walked through a recently cleared minefield in Cuito Cuanavale, echoing the iconic path Diana famously took in 1997—but this time with deminers and local kids by his side. He emphasized, “Children should never have to live in fear of playing outside or walking to school”, a gentle yet powerful reminder of the work still to be done.

Princess Diana walks through a cleared area of mines for the Halo Trust, Huambo, Angola in January 1997.
On top of signing a three‑year contract with President João Lourenço of Angola to ramp up clearance efforts, Harry didn’t just stick to symbolism—he got hands-on, helping spot and safely destroy two anti-tank mines in the field. He immersed himself fully, meeting families, engaging with children, and honoring Diana’s mission with warmth and humility.
As for what Meghan wore in some of the photos she shared…
Meghan wore a beige cashmere sweater and white or off-white pants in her July 7th post and an ivory shirt and white pants in her most recent As Ever Instagram post.
While I haven’t found the exact cashmere beige sweater I did manage to find a few similar styles to get the look.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the SPRWMN sweater is the one she’s wearing – the ribbing on the cuffs and band are a close, if not exact, match to the one she is wearing.
Without seeing more of either of the pants she is wearing or the shirt it’s really hard to determine exactly what these might be.
The ivory shirt Meghan is wearing appears to be a button-up blouse featuring a pintuck pattern. Without additional details or a clearer view, it’s been challenging to identify the exact piece. I’ve explored several of her go-to brands, but so far, the search has come up empty. Hopefully we see more of this blouse in upcoming posts.
If you are interesting in what Shonda Rhimes is wearing in her Instagram Reel the details are below.
Her red short sleeve cashmere sweater at the start of the video could be any number of brands.
I have a new woman-owned brand to highlight today —
Meet Proper, the wellness brand founded by fitness and lifestyle guru Amanda Kloots (former Broadway dancer and Radio City Rockette) in early 2025. Inspired by her own quest for convenience, effectiveness, and flavor in health products, Amanda created Proper to be a bright spot in an otherwise bland supplement scene.
Solution-focused, nutrient-dense formulas: Proper offers powders tailored for daily needs—boosting immunity, digestion, energy, calming stress, and more—with superfood blends crafted to complement busy lives.
Clinically-validated and third-party tested: Ingredients are carefully selected based on scientific research, and every batch is tested for purity and potency.
Delicious taste, no compromise: Naturally flavored with monk fruit (no stevia or sugar alcohols), these formulas taste so good you’ll actually enjoy taking them, not dread them.
Proper’s collection includes:
The Greens (Daily Boost) – green apple blend of greens, vitamins, digestive enzymes, probiotics—great for gut health and daily nutrients.
The Yellows (Metabolism + Energy) – a sunshine-hued powder designed to support metabolism and curb cravings.
The Pinks (Digestion + Bloat Relief) – perfect for after-meal relief and gut balance.
The Oranges (Immune Support) – fortified with vitamin C, zinc, ginger, elderberry, and echinacea to rejuvenate the immune system.
The Lavenders (Calming Aid) – a serene blend intended to reduce stress and promote relaxation.
For the indecisive (or curious!), Proper offers a sample 5-stick variety pack ($9) —an easy way to find your favorite flavor and benefit.
Recently I received a few samples along with a water bottle I ordered. I tried the Greens (green apple) and Oranges (orange tangerine) first and absolutely loved both. They’re refreshingly light, not overly sweet, and taste real—a rare win in the supplement world.
Proper was kind enough to send me a few more blends to try, and I’ve already fallen for the Pinks (strawberry pomegranate)—it’s just the right balance of tart and fruity. I’m especially looking forward to trying the Lavenders (lavender lemonade) and the Corals (peach) next.
These superfood powders are super versatile, too—you can mix them with plain water, juice, or even lemonade. I tried mine with lemonade for a little summer twist, and it was chef’s kiss perfection.
If Amanda’s name sounds familiar, it’s because she’s no stranger to the spotlight—or to resilience. She was married to the late Broadway actor Nick Cordero, who tragically passed away in 2020 due to complications from COVID-19. In the years since, Amanda has become a symbol of strength and optimism, channeling her energy into fitness, motherhood, and now wellness entrepreneurship with Proper.
Let me know in the comment what you think of the wine (for those that ordered and received it!)

Bonne suite
