Meghan Markle joined Prince Harry, Prince William, Duchess Kate, and other British royals for her first official royal Christmas tradition — the Queen’s annual Pre-Christmas luncheon at Buckingham Palace.

Today’s luncheon offers the perfect opportunity for Meghan to meet the extended family before the couple’s wedding.

Over 50 members of the British royal family attend the Queen’s lunch every year, and today marks the first time Meghan will meet many of Prince Harry’s extended family members, People reports.

Now a look at what Meghan wore for today’s luncheon.
She wore a dress from Self Portrait – dress as the Self Portrait Nightshade Midi Dress. The £300 dress is crafted from a combination of specially designed guipure lace and solid crepe skirt. The short sleeved bodice is fitted to the waist with a grosgrain waistband in contrast to the full silhouette of the tucked A-line skirt. The neckline is finished with a solid black collar stand. The bodice is lined with a nude bandeau for coverage and the dress is fastened with an exposed zip in the back. It has been sold out for some time.

Meghan has been a fan of the popular brand for years. Below, we see her wearing their Teardrop Lace Dress at the Glamour and L’Oreal Paris Celebrate 2016 College Women Of The Year event last year.

Meghan’s earrings are from Birks. They are from the brand’s Snowflake Collection – the Snowflake Large Round Jacket Earrings, $6000.
