This evening Meghan stepped out in Los Angeles, bringing her signature elegance to the 2024 Paley Honors Fall Gala at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel.
The Duchess of Sussex, 43, attended the star-studded event to celebrate a close friend and media powerhouse, Tyler Perry, as he was honored with the Paley Honors Award for his groundbreaking contributions to media and philanthropy.

Dressed in a stunning classic strapless black gown paired with a diamond necklace from Logan Hollowell and a pair of black Stuart Weitzman strappy heels, Meghan turned heads as she walked the red carpet.
The Paley Honors Award is the highest distinction from The Paley Center for Media, recognizing individuals who have shaped the media landscape with their innovative achievements. Tyler Perry, whose prolific career spans acting, directing, writing, and philanthropy, was the night’s star honoree. Meghan, alongside her husband, Prince Harry, served as a tribute chair for the gala, showcasing their admiration for Perry’s immense impact.

The gala wasn’t just a celebration of Perry’s achievements but also a gathering of Hollywood’s finest. Meghan mingled with notable attendees such as Whoopi Goldberg, Gayle King, Taraji P. Henson, and Kerry Washington, radiating warmth and grace as she posed for photos and exchanged heartfelt congratulations.

Meghan, Tyler and Oprah sat together for dinner.
Debbie Allen and husband Norm Dixon were also in attendance.
Although Prince Harry couldn’t join Meghan at the event due to his commitments in New York City at The New York Times DealBook Summit, Meghan’s presence underscored the couple’s deep friendship with Perry. Their bond began in 2020 when Perry offered his Los Angeles home as a sanctuary for Harry, Meghan, and their son Archie during their transition from royal life. Perry later became godfather to their daughter, Princess Lilibet, further cementing their close relationship.
In addition to honoring Perry, the evening highlighted the Paley Center’s dedication to preserving media history and advancing education through its programs and archives. Proceeds from the event will support these vital initiatives.

Now our look at What Meghan Wore for tonight’s event.
Meghan, in collaboration with her stylist Jamie Mizrahi, opted for a timeless black strapless gown from Oscar de la Renta. We do not have a stock photo of the dress at this time.
Below are a few “get the look” options — Club L London ‘Elene’ black pleated split fishtail maxi dress, $180 and Norma Kamali strapless shirred front fishtail gown, $295.
UPDATE 12/8: It was reported that She wore a pair of sandals from Celine by Elizabeth Holmes and Marie Claire, however, we could not find any style from Celine that was remotely close to the pair she wore. We still think she wore the Stuart Weitzman sandals as she has worn them before.
Meghan is wore her Stuart Weitzman – the ‘Nudistsong’ strappy sandal in black, $475.
She’s worn the style previously while in New Zealand, October 2018, and again for the Cirque du Soleil’s ‘Totem’ premiere in London, January 2019.
Meghan also owns the style in red and nude — worn at the ATX Television Festival in Austin, Texas, June 2017 and Fashion Week in 2014.
UPDATE 12/8: Meghan is wearing a custom diamond tennis necklace from Logan Hollowell. It is based off of their ‘Fortuna’ piece. She also wore this necklace back in September at the Godmothers bookstore opening.

She did not wear any earrings.
Not quite sure about the lip color she is wearing – but it does look like it has a bit of a pink iridescent sheen to it. Previously she’s worn lip colors from Dior and Charlotte Tilbury. Below are some options to get the look.

Meghan looked amazing as always. Even if the dress was a bit toned down due to not wanting to overshadow Tyler. Daniel Martin is always on point when it comes to her makeup. That necklace is to die for. I’ve loved all of the Logan Hollowell jewels she has worn so far. My favorite being probably her emerald choker worn at the Archewell mental health day summit. She looked amazing that day.

Meghan looked absolutely stunning & radiant at this event. Her skin was glowing and I love the shoes! That being said, I’m not really a fan of the looser fit of the dress in the front. I think the “Get the look” dresses posted above look better than the dress she was wearing b/cc they have a tighter fit.
