The Duchess of Sussex has brought her signature blend of warmth, community, and style to the shelves of Godmothers Bookstore in Summerland, California.

Meghan’s lifestyle brand, As Ever, has officially launched its first retail partnership with the independent bookstore — a fitting collaboration.
Meghan shared on Instagram a clip of her setting up products in the bookstore’s upstairs event area.
Located just minutes from Montecito, Godmothers Bookstore has become a hub for creativity and conversation since opening in 2024. Founded by literary agent Jennifer Rudolph Walsh and entrepreneur Victoria Jackson, the space celebrates women’s voices, books, and meaningful gatherings — ideals that align beautifully with the spirit of As Ever.

Now, visitors to the shop can browse a curated selection of As Ever products displayed among books and local artisan goods. The addition marks the brand’s first in-person retail location.
BREAKING NEWS! Meghan Returns to Acting?!? = Kind of…
In addition to her growing lifestyle empire, Meghan is stepping back into the spotlight — this time in a small but meaningful role in the upcoming film Close Personal Friends. The new project from Amazon MGM Studios features an ensemble cast including Lily Collins, Brie Larson, Jack Quaid, and Henry Golding.
According to People, Meghan was recently spotted on the film’s set in Pasadena, California, where she filmed scenes for her cameo — reportedly playing herself. The movie follows two couples, one famous and one not, whose lives intertwine in unexpected ways, exploring the complexities of friendship and fame.
This marks Meghan’s first on-screen appearance since her time on Suits, and while the role is brief, it represents what sources are calling a “gentle re-entry” into the world of acting. It’s a move that feels perfectly in step with her broader creative evolution — blending storytelling, authenticity, and connection across all her ventures. Read more about the project here.

The As Ever Signature Fruit Spread Gift Box, $42, is featured in Oprah’s Favorite Things 2025 for the holidays! To celebrate, enjoy 10% off your order with code OFT10.

In the below Instagram post on Oprah Daily the product appears at the start.
What Meghan wore for the setup—
I tried to get the best screen captures as possible from the video—it was not easy!

Meghan is in a blue boxy button-up shirt. I’m still looking for the shirt.
Here are some options to get the look.
Quince 100% Organic Cotton Poplin Long Sleeve Boyfriend Shirt ($40) / Mango pocket oversize shirt ($70) – for 30% off use: MNG30 / Old Navy Oversized Button-Down Boyfriend Shirt ($28)

I think she might be wearing her AYR ‘The Stir’ jeans in ‘Obsessed’ ($245).

Her shoes appear to be a loafer style. They could be her Veronica Beard Penny Suede Loafer ($350) that she was seen wearing in With Love, Meghan, season 2, episode 6. More sizes available here.

A few months ago, I started a series highlighting women-owned and sustainable brands — and today, I’m excited to share a new addition, just in time for the holiday season!
Ravella is a U.S.-based brand offering a gorgeous selection of sustainable cashmere sweaters, washable silk blouses, and more. Their pieces are timeless, elegant, and crafted with a focus on quality and conscious design.
Here’s a little more about the brand, in their own words:
“At Ravella, we believe living beautifully starts by building deeper connections with the things and people we love. We are committed to responsible choices: sustainable natural materials over synthetics; exquisite craftsmanship over mass production; forever classics over shoddy throwaways.”
“Our Signature silk is Oeko-Tex certified Made in Green. That means beautiful silk made sustainably with the finest natural fibers without any harmful, toxic chemicals, and made in environmentally friendly facilities with minimal waste. Better for you and for the environment.”
The brand kindly sent me one of their cashmere sweaters, and I have to say — it’s quickly become one of my favorites! The material is incredibly soft and cozy, perfect for the cooler weather we’ve been having. I find myself reaching for it again and again.
The Camilla Luxe Cashmere Sweater ($375) comes in a range of stunning colors. I have it in black, and I’m already eyeing the burgundy and blue for my next addition!

Be sure to check out their silk shirts, pants, cashmere coats and linen products as well!
