Harry and Meghan arrived in Nottingham this morning for their first joint public engagement since returning to the UK.

The couple began their day at the Community Recording Studio, greeting schoolchildren and well-wishers gathered outside before heading in to meet the team. Meghan stopped for hugs and photographs and received flowers from supporters.

“It’s great to be back,” Meghan told one well-wisher. In a lovely moment linking the two visits, a woman showed her a photograph from their first trip to Nottingham together. “That’s so special,” she replied.

Many of you will remember that Nottingham was the setting for Harry and Meghan’s first joint royal engagement on December 1, 2017, just days after announcing their engagement. Nearly nine years later, they are back together, reconnecting with organizations and communities they have continued to support.

Their first stop, the Community Recording Studio (CRS) in St Ann’s, gives young people opportunities to explore music and other creative interests, alongside mentoring and activities that help develop confidence and practical skills. Harry has a longstanding relationship with the charity and returned for a visit last September.

During this morning’s visit, Meghan joined girls for a bracelet-making and confidence-building workshop, while Harry caught up with musician, poet and youth mentor Jah Digga, who attended CRS as a child.

The day’s itinerary also includes Himmah Hub in Hyson Green, where the focus is on tackling food poverty and supporting the local community.

Readers will remember the women’s work with Meghan on Together: Our Community Cookbook, published in 2018 following the Grenfell Tower fire.
Meghan’s book, Together – Our Community Cookbook, $10.

Meghan previously donated £10,000 to Himmah from the cookbook’s proceeds, making today’s stop another opportunity to see that support in action.
Harry and Meghan are scheduled to take part in cooking activities and help pack food parcels, with Meghan also reuniting with women from the Hubb Community Kitchen.

Their final planned visit is to Epic Partners, which works with children, young people and families through education, sport and mentoring. Both Epic and CRS have worked with Harry for more than a decade.

It’s lovely to see Harry and Meghan back in Nottingham together—and to see the community organizations at the heart of today’s visit getting some well-deserved attention.
Now my look at what Meghan wore for today’s engagements.
The Duchess wore a selection of UK-based brands.

Meghan wore the Joseph Dona Oversized Double Face Cashmere Coat in Mahogany, $2,305.

Her sweater is also from Joseph—Yara Cashair High Neck Jumper in Mahogany, $545.

Meghan’s skirt is The Fold Clever Crepe Oliena Skirt in Deep Plum, $295. The skirt is on sale at Nordstrom for $206 here.

The belt Meghan has on is the Marks and Spencer Leather Triple Keeper Jeans Belt in dark tan, £26 (no available on the US site).

The Duchess wore another pair of Jennifer Chamandi Lorenzo 85 pumps in Vintage Port Nappa, $895.

Another look at the shoe.

She carried the Joseph Mini Loaf Woven Leather Bag in Espresso, $1,105.

Meghan wore minimal jewelry. The only jewelry she had on besides the Diana Cartier watch in gold and her wedding band is her Logan Hollowell The Aura Sleeve: Gen 4 & Gen 5, $2,875 and Oura ring 5, $499 and one additional ring.

The additional ring I spotted is a celestial dome style in gold.

The closest style I found is from Mejuri—Celestial Dôme Ring, $848. There are a number of other similar styles that I came across, but nothing that lined up with brands she’s worn.

I’m loving all the U.K. fashion brands. Good move Meghan!
The crowds really were there to support Meghan and Harry. All the videos showed the love and long standing connection. It looks like they had a great day and it was a packed schedule. Well done!
