Happy Anniversary to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex!

It’s hard to believe that it’s been four years since the couple tied the knot on May 19, 2018.
Harry and Meghan also celebrated Archie’s 3rd birthday earlier this month and are about to celebrate Lili’s first birthday in just a few short weeks.

In other Royal news….
It has been confirmed that the Sussexes will be attending the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in the beginning of June.

A statement from the couple’s spokesperson reads —
Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are excited and honoured to attend The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations this June with their children.”

The festivities begin on Thursday, 2nd June at 11am GMT/6am ET with Trooping the Colour — the Queen’s Birthday Parade. We don’t expect to see the Sussexes this day as it was announced that only senior working royals will appear on the balcony along with the Queen.
After careful consideration, The Queen has decided this year’s traditional Trooping the Colour balcony appearance on Thursday 2nd June will be limited to Her Majesty and those Members of the Royal Family who are currently undertaking official public duties on behalf of The Queen,” a Buckingham Palace spokesperson told reporters. Children of working royals will also appear on the balcony, as will Princess Anne’s husband, Sir Timothy Laurence.”
On Friday, 3rd June a Service of Thanksgiving for The Queen’s reign will be held at St Paul’s .Cathedral. We’re thinking we will see Harry and Meghan attend this event but we do not yet have a start time although I would expect this to start late morning UK time.
Saturday, 4th June – The Queen will attend The Derby at Epsom Downs along with members of the Royal Family.
Later, the Platinum Party at the Palace takes place with hosts Kirsty Young and Roman Kemp leading live coverage of the party on BBC One, BBC iPlayer and across the BBC network. No word on which, if any, channels in the US will broadcast the event. We’re sure this will also appear on YouTube somewhere. Check back for updates!
We expect to see Harry and Meghan attend this event along with other members of the Royal Family.

Polo anyone? —
Some of you may have seen that Meghan has been attending polo events with Harry the past few weekends.
The first event took place on 30th April and 1st May at the Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club – Harry East Memorial Tournament. The team, the Los Padres, was formed by the Prince and his long time friend Nacho Figueras.

On Saturday, 30th April, Meghan wore a white jacket and dark shorts. Under her jacket she had on a blue and white striped shirt with a white collar. Her shoes are hard to see in most photos. They could be her Chanel black cap toe flats.

As we don’t have clearer images, it’s hard to correctly identify everything Meghan is wearing. Here are several suggestions on what she might be wearing.
Her striped shirt could be this one from Celine cropped shirt in striped cotton, $990.

Try this similar style from Everlane, $80 or this one also from Everlane, $80.

Meghan’s panama hat looks like it could be her Madewell x Biltmore hat. Sadly the hat is no longer available.

Try these similar styles — J. Crew, $79, Banana Republic, $80 or Madewell packable hat, $39.

Try this jacket from Gap, $86, to get Meghan’s white blazer look.

For Meghan’s black shorts, try these #replimeg styles — Banana Republic, $25 or J. Crew, $25.

Meghan wore her Valentino rockstud sunglasses, $166.

This past Saturday, 14th May, Meghan wore an all white outfit with a brown belt and her Valentino sunglasses.
Once again, without clearer photo, it’s hard to identify what she may be wearing. Below we show what she might be wearing.
Her white shirt may be this one from Anine Bing — the white cotton Mika Shirt, $179.

These white shorts from Frame, a brand the Duchess favors, are a good match for her shorts. They are the Le Cut Off Mid-Rise Denim Shorts, $179.

Were thinking she might be wearing a brown belt. Her shoes are vaguely seen in some images. These t-strap sandal options are a great steal her style look.
From Macy’s Sun & Stone, $26 or the Nine West ‘Bassie’ flat, $39.

Finally, Meghan wore an all blue outfit on Sunday. Her shirt appears to be a chambray style.
Meghan’s shorts could be this pair from Doen, the ‘Lane’ short, $148.

Meghan’s shoes are very hard to see. They appear to be another pair of strappy sandals in dark brown or black. The Gabriela Hearst Steward leather slingback sandals, $850 are a close match.

A side by side look at Meghan’s polo outfits. Which one is your favorite look?
Finally, Meghan’s red gown worn to the Salute to Freedom Gala back in November 2021 is now available to purchase. It is the Carolina Herrera Plunging Pleated Overskirt Bustier Gown in Poppy, $5990.
