Happy Valentine’s Day!
In a heartwarming celebration of Valentine’s Day, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex embarked on a special journey to Whistler, British Columbia, to mark the beginning of the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025’s One Year to Go festivities.

Braving the freezing temperatures, the royal couple, bundled up in winter gear, made a striking appearance on the snowy mountains of Whistler. Hand in hand, they engaged with athletes on adaptive skis, exemplifying their genuine interest in the Invictus Games and its participants.
Prince Harry went a step further by trying his hand at adaptive skiing, showcasing his commitment to understanding the challenges faced by wounded, injured, and sick service personnel and veterans.

Over the next three days, Harry and Meghan will immerse themselves in the Winter Training Camp organized before the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025. This camp serves as a crucial gathering for the international Invictus Community, bringing together team managers, coaches, and competitors to experience winter adaptive sports ahead of the official competition next year.
The upcoming Invictus Games will mark a historic moment as the first winter edition of the competition, introducing winter sports such as alpine skiing, snowboarding, biathlon, Nordic skiing, skeleton, and wheelchair curling. In addition to the core Invictus sports, including indoor rowing, sitting volleyball, swimming, wheelchair basketball, and wheelchair rugby.
Prince Harry expressed his excitement about the evolving nature of the Invictus Games, announcing that Canada would host the first-ever Winter Hybrid Games in 2025. This innovation reflects the ongoing commitment to adapt and expand the Invictus Games, providing even more opportunities for veterans to showcase their resilience and athleticism.
Participants, like Ivan Morera from Team U.S.A., emphasized the transformative impact of adaptive sports. Morera, a single-arm amputee and Afghanistan veteran, expressed gratitude for the opportunity to challenge himself physically and build resilience through skiing and snowboarding.
Rosa Sanchez Bermudez, the Invictus Games’ first female competitor from Colombia, shared her sentiments, describing the Invictus Games as a family. Meeting Prince Harry and Meghan for the first time during the winter training camp added a special touch to her experience, as she expressed her happiness and pride.
Canada holds special significance for the royal couple, as it was the location of their debut as a couple at the 2017 Invictus Games in Toronto. The Invictus Games have played a pivotal role in Prince Harry and Meghan’s journey, making Canada a cherished place for them personally.
As Prince Harry and Meghan continue to make a positive impact through their involvement in the Invictus Games, their Valentine’s Day celebration in Canada reflects not only their love for each other but also their shared commitment to supporting and empowering veterans on their journey to recovery.

This evening the couple toured the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre with Youth Ambassadors, Chief Nelson and Wilson Williams. A reception at the centre followed where artists who created the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025 logo debuted their artwork. You can read more about their evening here.
Now our look at what Meghan wore for today’s events.
Meghan’s coat is from Calvin Klein – Quilted Maxi Puffer Jacket, reg. $295, marked down to $118. As it’s the end of the season, stock was already depleted and the coat is now sold out.

Meghan’s boots are actually a pair she’s owned since 2016. The are the Sorel ‘Joan of Arctic™’ in Quarry Black, reg. $240 now $179 (limited sizes available). This is a signature style for the brand so you can expect to see these restocked again in the Fall.

SIZING NOTE: If you are ordering a pair, size down at least 1/2 a size than your regular size. I own these boots and I am a 6.5 and mine are a size 6 (36). I’ve had them for years!

The Duchess wore an ivory colored sweater. We’re thinking it could be the Victoria Beckham Cashmere Sweater in Ivory, that she wore in the couple’s engagement photos, December 2017.
Town and Country suggests that Meghan is wearing the Co classic crew neck cashmere sweater, $675. It is also very similar to the Victoria Beckham sweater. We’re not entirely sure which sweater she may be wearing at this point.
Her hat is also past season, from the 2016 Burberry Collection – the Fox Fur Pom-Pom Beanie in black.
We’re also thinking she re-wore her Frame Le Skinny De Jeanne crop ankle slit from the Invictus Games 2023. Similar style here.
Meghan wore her Shiffon 1972 tennis pinky ring, $2800, Princess Diana’s Cartier watch and a new ring that we have yet to identify. It is a stacked ring set with what appears to be the birthstones for Meghan (peridot – green), Harry (sapphire), Archie (emerald) and Lili (pearl). The birthstones appear to be some sort of band that connects the rest of the rings together so it could be a spinner stacked ring. You’ll also notice that the eternity band within the ring seems to go under the one birthstone. This may likely be a custom made piece with the birthstones.

She also wore a new pair of sunglasses from Blenders – the ‘Grove’ style in Midnight Drama, $59.
When Meghan arrived at the airport in Vancouver I saw her sneakers she was wearing and recognized them as the Tretorn ‘Rawlins 2.0’ style in what appears to be the white., $70. Also available on Amazon, $85.
Meghan wore a Doen coat – the Kensington coat, $598. The coat is no longer available as it’s end of season.
According to Hello Magazine, Meghan appears to be wearing the Bottega Veneta Drop earrings. Hello thinks she is wearing the large drop earrings ($1350), however after looking at the photos more closely, I think she is wearing the smaller drop earrings in gold, $850.
Hello also reports that Meghan wore a collarless black shirt from Dior (we have not found the exact style) and black trousers from Anine Bing – the ‘Carrie’ pants, $250.

Finally, We have some additional exciting news this week!
Harry and Meghan have launched their new website – www.sussex.com – “The Office of Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex.” The site combines their old Sussex Royal site which showcases their projects before moving to California in 2020 along with Archewell Foundation and Productions.
It was also announced this week that Meghan has signed a new podcast deal with Lemonada Media. Her award winning podcast, Archetypes will now be available on all platforms. On Saturday, February 10th, Meghan joined the Southern California Welcome Project for an evening of cooking & storytelling. In collaboration with The Archewell Foundation’s partner, Mina’s List, a group of 15 women gathered to cook traditional Afghan food. Read more about this here.
