**Updated 3/25 – Meghan’s nail polish revealed! Scroll down for updates.
I’ve received a lot of questions this week about the nail polish Meghan wears in With Love, Meghan. While the exact brand and shade remain a mystery, I’ve put together some suggestions to help you achieve a similar look. But first, let’s take a quick look at some of the brands she has been known to wear in the past.

Back in 2017, for her Vanity Fair interview, Meghan wore Rimmel London Super Gel polish in Ivory Tower. While this shade is only available in the UK, I was able to get my hands on a few bottles at the time. The color is a soft, milky off-white —an elegant and understated choice.

For her 2018 wedding, Meghan wore a custom combination of CND Shellac UV gel polish. I did an in-depth analysis of her wedding manicure in my 2018 post, which you can find here. After extensive research—and testing the actual CND shades myself—I concluded that she likely wore Unlocked as a base, layered with either Negligee or Beau for a soft, sheer finish.

To be clear, as there seems to be a lot of confusion around this — This was not the infamous Ballet Slippers by Essie—the shade often cited as “the Queen’s favorite polish.” In fact, the Queen was rarely seen wearing nail polish in her later years or if she was it was something super sheer. That said, Ballet Slippers remains a timeless and elegant choice. Available here ($8) and here ($10).

So, what exactly did Meghan wear throughout her series?

UPDATE 3/25: Meghan has revealed her favorite UV gel polish in a post on ShopMy today. I was right about it being the CND Shellac UV polish. Here are the two colors she is loving. She uses a coat of Satin Slippers and a coat of Romantique to achiever her perfectly polished look.
CND Shellac in Satin Slippers and CND Shellac in Romantique – $17 ea.

The colors are also available in the CND Vinylux polish – a longer lasting polish. I’ve used Vinylux in the past and loved it.
CND – Vinylux Satin Slippers 0.5 oz – #297, $9 / CND – Vinylux Romantique 0.5 oz – #142

Below are additional options to get the look. Any of the below brands are excellent choices!
My best guess is that Meghan is wearing a UV gel polish. In the photo on the left, you can see where her nails have grown out slightly, revealing the polish edge and its thickness—both telltale signs of a gel manicure. Having worn both regular and UV gel polishes over the years, I’ve noticed a significant difference in durability. It would also be a ‘safer’ choice as there is no worry of it chipping during filming.
A frequently recommended brand is Olive & June, which now offers a UV gel polish. Founded by Sarah Gibson Tuttle, this California-based vegan brand is known for its long-lasting formulas. Personally, I’ve found it to be one of the few polishes that actually stay put—most tend to chip or peel off my nails within hours. While I switched to gel polishes a year or so ago, I’ve recently been opting for press-on nails for their convenience and minimal damage to my natural nails.
Below – Olive & June polish in Icing is the Best Part, $9, (a pale milky white) and Buttercream (a pale milky off-white), $8 — both shades are currently out of stock – sign up for restock notices. Icing is the Best Part is available in the UV gel polish, $10, here. Use this link for 20% off your order.

OPI ‘Funny Bunny’ is a great milky sheer white – polish $12 or gel-like Infinite Shine polish $14. . Cirque Color is a very good brand that I’ve been using for a few years now. They have a beautiful milky white – Linen, $12.
OPI’s Funny Bunny is a fantastic milky sheer white, available in regular polish for $12 or in the long-wearing Infinite Shine formula for $14.

Another excellent option is Linen by Cirque Colors, a brand I’ve been using for years. It’s a gorgeous milky white shade and retails for $12.

I hope this helps answer some of your questions about Meghan’s nail color. Let us know what polish brands you love in the comments.
I don’t understand how you get these nails at home. Do you need a special UV machine or is it just a coat and you wait for it to dry? If you need a machines which one? How does it come off?
Hi CPP, yes you need a UV lamp which you can purchase on Amazon for example, and do it yourself. Otherwise you would have to go to a nail salon that offers Shellac UV gel polish – most offer it. CND offers a gel like polish that lasts longer. It goes on like regular polish and will air dry. Hope this helps. Thanks, Susan
Btw, I clicked on the link to the 2018 post about Meghan’s nails, and it took me to a WordPress page asking me to sign in with my email & password. Is there something going on with the post? Thanks.
Hi L – thank you I corrected the problem and the link should work now. Susan
Thanks for the information about Meghan’s nail polish! These are lovely colors! ♥️
I have long admired Meghan’s short, neatly manicured neutral nails. Thanks for the brand and color info.
I’ve updated the post as she revealed on her ShopMy today the two colors she loves from CND Shellac – Satin Slippers (https://go.shopmy.us/p-15002429) and Romantique (https://go.shopmy.us/p-15002401) – Thanks, Susan
It could also be “Libson wants Moor” by OPI
Thank you for all your efforts on this!
Susan, thanks so much for your efforts and time in the last few weeks. I’m still looking for the blue linen top and black skirt Meg wore. I’ll check back
Hi Uop, Yes, that one has been a challenge! We may never know, unless she wears it again for something else and we get a better view of it. Thanks, Susan
