Over the weekend, the Meghan gave fans an intimate peek into her Montecito home through a series of Instagram Stories, capturing peaceful moments amid the first blooms of the season.

Meghan shared snapshots and videos of her tranquil surroundings, offering a rare glimpse of the outdoor oasis she shares with Harry and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
In one video, Meghan wrote, “A small break from work to soak in the weekend” alongside a sunshine emoji, setting the tone for a picturesque and restorative day.
Her Instagram Stories revealed a breathtaking backyard complete with a lush green lawn, a lily pad-filled pond, vibrant patches of flowers, and fruit-bearing trees.
The Duchess was seen picking oranges straight from a tree before squeezing a fresh slice into her drink. Her outdoor patio setup was equally inviting—featuring a rustic wooden dining table, a centerpiece of fresh oranges, and a circular wooden cutting board serving as a tray.
One of the standout moments from Meghan’s weekend retreat was her casual yet meaningful fashion choice. She was spotted wearing a purple Northwestern University sweatshirt, a subtle yet poignant nod to her alma mater. But beyond that, the look carried an unexpected tie to her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana.

In 1996, Diana was photographed wearing a nearly identical purple Northwestern sweatshirt—long before she could have known that her future daughter-in-law would one day attend the Chicago-area university. The connection is a beautiful example of how fashion can weave together past and present in the most touching ways.
Meghan’s Instagram Stories also featured sweet cameos from her loved ones. In one clip, she was seen guiding either Prince Archie or Princess Lilibet in watering the garden, passing the hose along as they eagerly took part in caring for their home’s lush landscape. It was a heartwarming, hands-on parenting moment that echoed Meghan’s love for nature and nurturing.
Adding to the sentimentality, Meghan’s beagle, Momma Mia, made an appearance, trotting across the grass. This moment came just weeks after Meghan shared the heartbreaking news of the passing of her beloved beagle, Guy. It was a touching tribute to her cherished pets and the joy they bring to her life.
Meghan’s new Netflix show, ‘With Love, Meghan’ debuts next Tuesday, March 4th. We expect to see a lot of promotional posts and possible talk show appearances in the next few weeks.

Clearing Up Confusion Around Meghan Markle’s ‘As Ever’ Brand Name
In our last post, we introduced Meghan’s new lifestyle brand, As Ever. Since then, we’ve noticed some confusion surrounding the brand’s name and logo, particularly in social media discussions. We wanted to clarify a few key details to set the record straight.
Some have speculated that As Ever may be in violation of an existing trademark due to similarly named businesses. However, this is not the case. There is a clothing company in New York operating under the name As Ever, but it is legally registered as Yet As Ever, LLC and doing business as As Ever. Additionally, reports have surfaced about a China-based company called ASEVER, which manufactures clothing for brands such as H&M.
Meghan’s legal team has been diligent in ensuring all necessary filings were completed correctly. The initial trademark application for As Ever was submitted in 2022. In 2023, the application was amended to remove the term “clothing” and was subsequently approved. If Meghan chooses to introduce apparel—such as branded t-shirts or other fashion items—it is likely that she will do so under a modified name or an alternative workaround.
He added that he intends to keep making clothes under the As Ever name. “If they had intentions of making clothes out of the gate then it could have been a problem. They’re choosing not to make clothing at this time, but that could change,” Kolski said. “I have no interest in having any public forum battle against this new venture. That’s not who I am.”
Kolski’s fashion brand doesn’t have a registered trademark for the name.
Meghan likely considered multiple potential names for her brand, and with Netflix now involved, As Ever was obviously seen as a stronger fit for the overall vision and product range. Additionally, there were reported challenges in securing the American Riviera Orchard trademark, which contributed to the decision. When launching a new business or brand, it’s common to explore several naming options before settling on the perfect choice.
Here’s what Meghan had to say (from Vanity Fair) —
“Last year, I had thought, ‘American Riviera, that sounds like such a great name.’ It’s my neighborhood; it’s a nickname for Santa Barbara, but it limited me to things that were just manufactured and grown in this area,” she said. “Then Netflix came on, not just as my partner in the show, but as my partner in my business. which was huge. So I thought about it, and I’ve been waiting for a moment to share a name that I had secured in 2022, and this is the moment, and it’s called As Ever.”
Another topic making headlines is Meghan’s brand logo, which features two hummingbirds and a palm tree illustration. Some have pointed out a resemblance to the coat of arms of a town in Spain, which also depicts a palm tree but with two swallows instead. While there are similarities, Meghan’s design is distinct. Additionally, because the coat of arms is not a commercial trademark, there are no infringement concerns.

A rep for Meghan’s company had this to say about the logo —
“The logo incorporates a palm tree as a nod to The Duke and Duchess’ home in California, along with two hummingbirds — a favorite of Prince Harry’s,” they said in the statement. “The distinct shape enclosing the birds and tree was intentionally designed to create a unique and personal emblem. As part of the process, comprehensive global searches of registered trademarks were conducted.”
Since the coat of arms is not a commercially trademarked logo it would make sense as to why it did not show up in searches for registered trademarks.
