During the Invictus Games held last month, Meghan took a poignant moment to share her heartfelt reflections on a visit she had made to the Fisher House Foundation in Los Angeles. This visit resonated deeply with her as she stood before veterans and their families, acknowledging the profound impact of their work.

She spoke with a genuine sense of admiration, saying —
I was really fortunate to go and visit one of the houses in Los Angeles just a couple of weeks ago, and I was so moved by everything that they do because they understand – as you do, as my husband does in creating the Invictus Games – how much the value of rehabilitation matters, not just as a solitary experience, but as a family.”
The video was showcased during an Invictus seminar held on Monday, featuring poignant moments of Meghan interacting with families who have derived immense benefit from the organization.

Her genuine compassion is evident as she shares hugs and empathetically listens to their inspiring stories.

The Fisher House Foundation, known for providing a “home away from home” for military families while their loved ones receive medical care, clearly left a profound impact on the Duchess, reinforcing the idea that the journey to recovery is a collective effort, one where families play an integral role.

Meghan has lent her voice to a video produced for the Fisher House Foundation, a steadfast and prominent supporter as well as a Premier Partner of Prince Harry’s Invictus Games.
As footage depicts injured veterans utilizing sports to overcome their injuries, Meghan poses a question, “What does recovery mean to you? For some, it means reclaiming their narrative, revolutionizing your mindset. It’s a change that’s not only physical, it’s mental, emotional, social.”
The Duchess continued —
The Invictus Games show that this growth is about more than what meets the eye. The spouse coordinating doctor visits, the children celebrating milestones. The mother, father, fellow veteran, the friend. There is a community near and far, surrounding servicemen and women when they deploy and long after they come home.
Healing does not happen alone, it takes a village. And is for the village. And one of the most essential parts of the process is having people surround you who understand. To grow as one unit, to achieve limitless potential.
To remind us above all else, in this international family no one gets left behind. Because this is Invictus, we are Invictus together.”
You can see the clip with Meghan in the IGF Conversation video below at about the thirty-three minute mark.
Now our look at what Meghan wore.

Meghan wore her Ralph Lauren Collection button down shirt in blue and white stripe. The updated version of the shirt is the ‘Capri’ Relaxed Fit Striped Cotton Shirt, $590.

She first wore the shirt in July 2019 for the Wimbledon Ladies Finals.

She also wore her Lafayette 148 ‘Rafferty’ midi skirt in black – a piece we first saw while she and Harry were in New York City, September 2021 (shown below left). The skirt is no longer available.

At one point in the video there is a glimpse of her shoes – a nude leather pump. These could be her Aquazzura Purist 105 leather pumps in beige/nude, $658, that she has worn a number of times, most recently while at the Invictus Games.

As for the Duchess’ jewelry, she appears to be wearing her staple pieces – Cartier ‘Love’ bracelet, Diana’s Cartier Tank watch along with Diana’s diamond tennis bracelet and one or two other diamond tennis bracelets. It’s difficult to see.
Also last week, we have a surprise sighting of Meghan in LA! Jennifer Su of the Sunday Times, was in Los Angeles with friends and ran into Meghan on their way to dinner!
Meghan was wearing the Polo Ralph Lauren oversized striped linen shirt in camel and white, $168 now $119 (limited sizes still available).

If you are looking for a more affordable option, try this similar style from J. Crew Factory, $39.

She also had a pair of aviator sunglasses hanging from her shirt. We first thought these might be her Ray-Ban classic aviators, $171, however upon closer look, they may be her Linda Farrow ‘Newman’ Aviator Sunglasses In Yellow Gold, $1015. She first wore them at the Invictus Games 2022.

Below are the Ray-Ban classic aviators in gold with green lenses, $171 if you would like to “get-the-look for less”. Meghan wore these sunglasses on a number of occasions in photos on her old Tig Instagram account.

She also wore a pair of hoop earrings that appear to have diamonds (real or faux). It’s hard to tell exactly which pair these may be from the photo so we’re hoping she wears them again.
Join us here tomorrow for the Archewell Foundation Parents’ Summit — part of the festival hosted by Project Healthy Mind to mark World Mental Health Day. Carson Daly will moderate a panel that includes Harry and Meghan, as well as surgeon general Vivek Murthy.
I love this! I would have believed these were screenshots from Suits; this outfit is so Rachel Zane! Meghan looks gorgeous, and so happy. (And I love that the pattern of people who actually meet her in person always have nothing but good things to say about her continues!) Thank you for the post 🙂
