On Thursday, Harry and Meghan visited BAYTR (Bravehearts and Youth Training & Resilience), an organization focused on youth resilience and mental health based in Melbourne.
The couple were brought face-to-face with young people navigating the often brutal world of social media. BAYTR’s mission—supporting youth mental health and resilience—aligns closely with the Sussexes’ long-standing advocacy for safer digital spaces.
Speaking with young people about the pressures of social media, Meghan did something she’s done more and more in recent years—she got personal.
She shared that she had been bullied online every single day for about a decade. Let that sink in for a second. Ten years. Daily.
It wasn’t framed for sympathy—it was framed for connection. And you could feel the shift in the room. This wasn’t a Duchess speaking at them; it was a woman who had lived through the same digital storm many of them are navigating right now.

Harry, meanwhile, stayed firmly in his lane as the straight-shooter of the duo.
He praised Australia for taking a leadership role when it comes to regulating social media, making it clear that protecting young people online isn’t optional—it’s urgent. His comments echoed the work he and Meghan continue to push through the Archewell Foundation, particularly around safer digital spaces.

Throughout the visit, Meghan has continued to wear just her Welsh gold wedding band, Cartier ‘Love’ bracelet and tank watch.
