After a busy morning at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne, Meghan kept things moving with a more low-key—but no less meaningful—stop.
The Duchess headed to McAuley Community Services for Women in Footscray, a refuge that provides crisis accommodation and longer-term housing for women in need.

Apron on, Meghan stepped in to help serve lunch, dishing up one of her go-to favorites, a frittata. If you’ve been following along for a while, you already know it’s something of a Meghan classic.
While handing out plates, she kept things light, smiling and asking, “Is anyone else hungry?”—a small moment, but one that felt genuine and very her.

Once everyone was served, Meghan didn’t hover or rush off. She sat down and joined the group for lunch, chatting easily and sharing a bit of travel reality: “We landed here this morning, so my jet lag hasn’t quite hit yet.” Relatable, honestly.
For longtime followers, the frittata moment is a bit of a callback. Meghan previously made the dish for Mindy Kaling on her Netflix series With Love, Meghan—and yes, that version even came with sprinkles on top. This one looked a little more traditional, but the personal touch was still there.

Here is the recipe in the nutshell if you would like to try it —
Meghan starts by sautéing onions, zucchini, and peppers (although you can use any veggies or add-ins you like), then pours in whisked eggs. Before baking, she tops the frittata with marinated red peppers, everything bagel seasoning, arugula, and goat cheese, which is her personal favorite combo.
It’s these quieter engagements that tend to stick. No big speeches, no stage—just showing up, pitching in, and spending time with people who don’t always get the spotlight.
And really, sometimes a warm meal and a friendly face go a long way.
Meghan wore the same outfit from the couple’s first engagement of the day. You can find that post here.
I’ll provide a recap below —

Dress: Karen Gee – the Priscilla style in navy, $1250
Shoes: Dior ‘Dioressence’ Pumps in Black Leather, retail £550 (past season)
Earrings: Real Fine Studio Puffy Heart earrings, $780
Meghan kept the rest of her jewelry simple and understated wearing only her Welsh gold wedding band, Cartier ‘Love’ bracelet and watch.
One more engagement today! I’ll be back shortly with another post.
