Meghan at Fortune’s “Most Powerful Women” Summit: Style + Substance (Updated 10/19)

Meghan addressed the ending of her original multi-project deal with Netflix and revealed she and Prince Harry are shifting toward a first-look deal for future content. This signals a recalibration of how they intend to release projects moving forward.

My husband and I were in an overall deal with Netflix then, not dissimilar to Higher Ground and the Obamas’ deal, once that had come to its term, the extension of it — which was such an incredible sign of the strength of our partnership — was now being in a first-look deal. Which is also exciting because it gives us flexibility to go to our partners first, then at the same time, shop content that might not be the right fit for Netflix but has a home somewhere else.”

Regarding With Love, Meghan, Meghan didn’t commit to a full third season, but she did mention the holiday special — indicating she’s keeping her creative options open.

Meghan’s response below when asked about the show —

Well, the holiday special is coming out in November. It’s a really good one.”

So I think looking at that format — again, it’s a year of learns — so we’re able to say, ‘Eight episodes for two seasons — it’s a lot of work,” she added. “And having done Suits for seven years, I remember what goes into a production. I also recognize how much people want content in different sizes. Part of what we’re testing out now is, it’s amazing to sit and watch a show for 30 minutes, but how can I give you a recipe in two minutes? And where can I share that with you? And how that continues to grow As ever.”

She also shared that the upcoming holiday special will feature her favorite gift-wrapping techniques — a nod to her early days between acting auditions, when she taught “advanced gift wrapping” classes.

A recurring theme: Meghan emphasized that she sees herself as more than a “creator” or “influencer.” She’s positioning herself as an entrepreneur and media strategist, someone who’s building structures (like Archewell) rather than operating ad hoc.

Her tone and content signaled she’s entering a more mature, strategic phase of her public role — not just making statements, but shaping platforms.

Now my look at What Meghan Wore for today’s event —

Meghan’s wardrobe at the summit was as intentional as her talking points. She appeared in an all-white ensemble that blended crisp tailoring with sleek modernity.

Meghan wore a collarless ivory silk blouse.

UPDATE 10/19: Meghan’s blouse is the Gabriela Hearst ‘Nicola’ blouson-sleeve tunic silk top, $1590 (past season, no longer available).

Below is a similar style — LouLou de Saison ‘Lea’ blouse, $544.

Her skirt is from Brochu Walker — The Esme Skirt Soft crafted from Italian vegan leather in ‘Pearle’, $348.

Update 10/15: Meghan’s shoes are custom Dior. They are a nude suede d’Orsay double ankle strap style. The shoes were custom made for Prince Archie’s christening back in 2019 (per Hello! magazine). These are the same shoes she wore for the CBS interview from August 2024.

It’s funny — Ellie (@RoyalBritishFashion) and I were just talking about these shoes! I said they looked like Dior but couldn’t find the exact pair. She suggested they might be custom, and I agreed — it was the heel tip that made me think of Dior. Below are the Dior ‘Dioressence’ pumps Meghan has worn before, where you can see that signature heel tip that gave it away.

Once again, Meghan wore another piece from the Ukrainian jeweler, Guzema — Trio Flat Ring in diamonds and yellow gold, $3550.

She had on a pair of gold earrings from Polène – the Éole stud earrings, $190.

I noticed an additional ring on Meghan’s left hand along with her wedding bands and engagement ring. It’s a dark looking band. Unfortunately I can’t see details on it in any photos. It could also be the lighting reflecting off the metals and diamonds of the rings causing an illusion of another ring.

UPDATE 10/15: I’ve had a lot of questions about the shade of nail polish Meghan wore. It appears to be a shade of mauve.

Here are my best two guesses are —

First up is CND Shellac (UV) in the shade Fuji Love, $45 (set of base, top coat and polish) or just the polish, $16. They also make it in a gel polish (no UV light needed) – CND Vinylux in Fuji, $16 (set of polish and top coat) or just the polish, $9.

My other guess is CND Shellac ‘We Want Mauve’, $17. You can also try the Vinylux gel polish version, $9.

I just ordered both shades to try and will provide an update later this week.

Meghan’s outfit today was very Suits—Rachel Zane coded.
