The Duke and Duchess of Sussex wrapped up their first day in Colombia with a powerful message about the urgent need for online safety.
Meghan and Harry participated in a panel discussion at the “Responsible Digital Future” forum in Bogota. The event was organized in partnership with Vice President Francia Márquez, Luminate*, and the Sussex’s Archewell Foundation about developing strategies to generate safer digital environments and combat cyberbullying. Nobel Peace Laureate and American journalist Maria Ressa also participated. The couple shared their deep concerns about the negative impact of social media on individuals and communities worldwide.
*Luminate, an organization established in 2018, works to ensure that everyone – especially those who are underrepresented – has the information, rights, and power to influence the decisions that affect their lives.

Meghan wore an all rust brown ensemble bringing back her Victoria Beckham shirt that she wore in 2020. She paired the shirt with silky satin trousers and Aquazzura sandals. She also wore a pair of earrings we have not seen in sometime, the Birks ‘Muse’ citrine earrings which she first wore in 2020 while in Ireland.
Meghan emphasized the pervasive nature of online harm, stating —
“It doesn’t matter where you live. It doesn’t matter who you are. Either you personally or someone you know is a victim to what’s happening online.”
Prince Harry echoed this sentiment, highlighting the connection between online toxicity and real-world violence, citing the recent disturbances in England as an example of how misinformation can fuel unrest.
The Sussexes’ Archewell Foundation has launched The Parents Network to support families affected by social media-related trauma. Their participation in the summit underscores their commitment to creating a safer digital landscape.
The couple’s visit to Colombia aligns with the upcoming World Ministerial Conference on the Elimination of Violence Against Children, where they will continue advocating for digital safety initiatives.
As the Sussexes continue their journey through Colombia, their focus on online safety remains a central theme. Their advocacy for this critical issue is likely to resonate with audiences worldwide.
Our look at what Meghan wore for the last event today.

Meghan wore her Victoria Beckham brown silk shirt, $770.

She first wore the shirt in September 2020 for the Time100 tv special. Meghan also owns the shirt in the camel color, which she wore for her appearance on America’s Got Talent in September 2020.

The Duchess wore a pair of satin trousers from Le Ligne, the Colby pant in Spice, $295.

We’ve reached out to the brand to see if the pant will be restocked.
Meghan’s entire outfit is very reminiscent of the brown sweater and satin skirt from Massimo Dutti which she wore to Canada House in London, January 2020.

Meghan’s shoes are from Aquazzura, the Divine Sandal 85 in cognac brown suede, $795.

Meghan surprised us and brought back a pair of earrings we have not seen in quite a few years, the Birks ‘Muse’ citrine and diamond drop earrings, $3475 (no longer available). Meghan first wore the earring when the couple were visiting Ireland in July 2018.

She also wore her Cartier necklace, bracelet and Tank watch again. Please check back for updates.

Aptly named shoes – divine! Love the block heel.
The colors don’t match and yet they don’t contrast. It looks oversized and mismatched.
I love this outfit! I adore her monochromatic looks! The shoes are gorgeous! ❤️
It’s all gorgeous ♥️
I don’t care for this look. Meghan is tiny and this style tends to look too oversized on her delicate frame. Le Ligne is oversized on many of their fashion items, it’s nice and I have several of their sweaters, but you need to size down to get the correct fit.
Je suis fascinée, je les aime tellement. Que le Seigneur veille sur eux. Il font de belles choses et surtout avec leur cœur pas juste par devoir.
English translation: “I’m fascinated, I love them so much. May the Lord watch over them. They do beautiful things and above all with their hearts, not just out of duty.”
I love your comment! I agree.
