Harry and Meghan make an appearance in a home video that has recently come to light. Filmed two years ago, this footage was initially recorded for the couple’s acceptance speech at the 2022 Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Ripple Of Hope Award.

The images were posted in May 2023 via Dylan Hahn’s Instagram account —
Harry and Meghan received the award in December 2022. During their acceptance speech, Harry delivered a poignant message inspired by Bobby Kennedy —
“Each time a man stands up for an ideal or acts to improve the lot of others or strikes out against injustice, he sends forward a tiny ripple of hope.” Meghan added, “Those ripples build a current that can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance.”

The Duchess of Sussex showcased an extra-long hairstyle, with her signature raven locks flowing gracefully down to her elbows. Paired with a fashionable blue button-up shirt and a floral skirt from Carolina Herrera, Meghan effortlessly demonstrated her timeless sense of style.

The video also provided a rare peek into the Sussexes’ cellar. The space emanated a cozy ‘man cave’ vibe, featuring a central pool table as its focal point. Decorated with stylish brickwork adorned with knick-knacks, the room was illuminated by a combination of wall lights and elegant chandeliers suspended from the ceiling.
While accepting their award in person, the couple showcased their impeccable fashion sense. Meghan donned a custom Louis Vuitton ankle-length column dress with a bardot neckline and long sleeves, accessorizing with an aquamarine ring that once belonged to Prince Harry’s late mother, Princess Diana. Prince Harry looked dapper in a smart blue suit and crisp white shirt.

The acceptance speech also featured a delightful moment of humor from Prince Harry, who jokingly remarked,
I’ll be honest with you, Kerry, I just thought we were just going on a date night, so I found it quite weird that we’re sharing the room with 1500 people! We don’t get out much these days because our kids are so small and young, so this is completely unexpected.”

Netflix Update —
This week also revealed that the couple are currently deep into their creative endeavors with Netflix, debunking recent speculations about the future of their partnership with the streaming giant. It seems the royal duo is committed to delivering more compelling content to Netflix.

Bela Bajaria, Chief Content Officer at Netflix, provided reassurance during a recent Netflix slate event, unveiling some exciting projects that the dynamic pair has in the pipeline.
While keeping the details under wraps, Bajaria hinted at the early stages of development for a movie, a scripted series, and a couple of unscripted shows. The Netflix executive commended the movie, emphasizing its potential greatness without divulging specifics.
“They have a couple of unscripted things they’re working on with Brandon [Reigg]. And they actually have like a bunch of development, they have a movie in development, a [scripted] series that they’re working on,” shared Bajaria, dispelling any doubts about the collaboration’s future.
Last year, Archewell Productions, the production company founded by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, acquired the screen rights to Carley Fortune’s novel, “Meet Me At The Lake,” signaling a venture into cinematic storytelling. The novel explores themes of childhood trauma, mental health challenges, and post-natal depression as it unfolds the story of a couple who meets in their thirties.

Despite the secrecy surrounding the upcoming projects, it’s evident that Harry and Meghan are on a creative journey with Netflix. Their docuseries, “Harry & Meghan,” premiered in December 2022, featuring six episodes. Additionally, they’ve brought impactful interview series like “Live To Lead” to the streaming platform, showcasing influential figures such as Greta Thunberg and Gloria Steinem. Furthermore, Prince Harry’s “Heart of Invictus” documentary series, unveiled last year, has been well-received.

While the duo faced a setback with the cancellation of the animated series “Pearl” in 2022, their ongoing collaboration with Netflix promises an exciting array of content that reflects their commitment to storytelling across various genres.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex Stand with Families After Senate Child Safety Hearing.
In the wake of the recent U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee’s hearing on online safety for children, Meghan and Harry have shared a heartfelt message of support. The couple, renowned for their advocacy on mental health and well-being, expressed solidarity with families grappling with the repercussions of social media pitfalls.
The royal couple’s statement, posted on the Archewell Foundation’s website, applauds the courage and determination of parents nationwide whose advocacy led to the crucial Senate hearing. The Archewell Foundation has been actively collaborating with families, establishing a support network for parents navigating the challenges posed by harmful online content and its impact on children dealing with serious mental health conditions.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, and co-founders of The Archewell Foundation said:
We applaud the bravery and determination of the thousands of parents around the country whose advocacy resulted in this hearing.
Over the past few years, we have spent time with many of these families, listening to their heartache and their hopes for the urgent change that is needed in the online space. This is an issue that transcends division and party lines, as we saw today at the Senate hearing. The best parenting in the world cannot keep children safe from these platforms. As one of the fathers shared with us: ‘If love could have saved them, all of our children would still be here.’
This is not the time to pass the buck of responsibility. It’s the time to make necessary change at the source to keep our children safe.”
The royal couple’s statement follows a Congressional hearing on social media, where industry leaders like Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel were held accountable for the impacts their platforms have on society, particularly young individuals. Parents of affected children also attended the hearing, sharing their stories of suffering and loss.
During the hearing, Mark Zuckerberg and Evan Spiegel issued apologies for the distressing experiences faced by families due to their platforms. Meghan and Harry had previously addressed the challenges of parenting in the digital age during a World Mental Health Day event in New York, emphasizing the need to turn pain into purpose.
