The event, held in Asokoro, Abuja, was a heartfelt testament to the power of sport in rehabilitation and the enduring spirit of service.

Sitting volleyball, a sport synonymous with resilience and teamwork, took center stage. Prince Harry, known for his athletic prowess and love for volleyball, wasted no time joining the game after a mere 15 minutes of observation. Amidst cheers of “Team Harry” and Meghan’s animated applause, the couple’s genuine enthusiasm became palpable.

Now our look at what Meghan wore for this morning’s event.

Meghan wore a dress from California based designer, Johanna Ortiz — it is the Tropicana Nights Dress, $2.850.

You may recall Meghan wore the Johanna Ortiz Ideal Universe Midi-Dress in gold, $1850 for the Ms. Foundation Women of Vision Awards, May 2016.

Meghan shoes are her Emme Parsons ‘Cecilia’ sandals in black calfskin, $450. She first wore the shoe for her birthday dinner, August 2023 (illustration below right).

The Duchess wore her Jennifer Meyer large hammered disc earrings in gold, $3,250.

She also wore her Ariel Gordon ‘Hex’ bracelet and her Lorraine Schwartz, the Against Evil Eye Five Eye Diamond Pave Bracelet, $18,500 (first worn in Vancouver, November 2023). Along with these two bracelets are her staple pieces, Cartier Tank watch and Cartier ‘Love’ bracelet.

One other bracelet she has been wearing is a gold beaded bangle which has not yet been identified.

She wore a new pair of sunglasses today from Heidi Merrick—the Ex-Pat frame in black, $225.

We will have another post following this for the reception the couple attended this afternoon.
This dress is gorgeous and I absolutely love the tassels attached to the straps. The dress really fits her petite frame too. Love it! ❤️
I am not fond of the keyhole up front. She seems to really like them. It is a good fit. However is this a dress to attend a sporting event? Not sure!
I love the Invictus colors in the dress, but all the small details really add a punch to the look. The straps are to die for! I just love this look on her slender frame. A big win in my book.
This may be an unpopular opinion, but I’ve really not been liking her looks of late. I mean yay kudos, no more ‘Royal rules for fashion’ AND yes its great that now she can wear whatever she wants BUT in my humble opinion, most of her sartorial choices have been basically downhill since she left the RF!!
She bought her own clothes when she was a working royal. She has always dressed her self
I agree with you. Meghan has her style which seems to favor streamlined elegance. I think her fashion was varied when working as a member of the BRF.
I followed her fashion more a few years back and purchased a few of her affordable fashion items at the time.
I think this is the best, most flattering look of the trip. This designer’s fashion is perfect on her small frame and brings out the most of her lovely features.
I love this dress! The straps are particularly lovely. She looks great!
Agree. This is a good designer for her. She really understands petite clothing and the fit is very good and complementary to her frame.
So do I.
