SCROLL FOR UPDATES 10 MARCH***
Hello everyone! We’re back with a few updates and Meghan’s visit to Harvest Home yesterday to mark International Women’s Day 2023.

Harvest Home, founded in 1985, provides housing, mental health support, and classes to expectant mothers who are experiencing hardship and intense challenges including domestic violence, substance use and homelessness. The organization has supported over 600 pregnant women and their children. Read more about Harvest Home in our previous post here.

Meghan, along with Archewell, celebrated the women of Harvest Home by “creating a pop up baby boutique, hosting lunch from a female owned restaurant, and making a donation to the organization.”

If you would like to donate to Harvest Home please see the link here.
In other news, People magazine exclusively confirmed that the Duke and Duchess held a christening for their daughter, Lili, on Friday March 3rd.

A spokesperson for the couple had this to say –
“Princess Lilibet Diana was christened on Friday, March 3 by the Archbishop of Los Angeles, the Rev John Taylor.”
There was a correction made later on that the spokesperson mistakenly referred to Rev John Taylor as the Archbishop and he is actually the Bishop of Los Angeles.
Per Gert’s Royals, Twitter, “Rev John Taylor is a member of the US Episcopal Church. It is part of the Anglican Communion which the Church of England is also apart of. The presiding Bishop of the US Episcopal Church is Rev Michael Curry, who spoke at the Sussexes wedding.”
According to reports the couple extended an invite to King Charles, Queen Camilla, Prince William and Kate Middleton, but they were not in attendance. There were about 20-30 guests at the intimate gathering which included Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, Lilibet’s godfather, Tyler Perry, and an unnamed godmother.

Mr. Perry was spotted arriving in Montecito ahead of the christening and brought a 10-person gospel choir that sang “Oh Happy Day” and “This Little Light of Mine” — a song that was played at Meghan and Harry’s wedding.
The news also marked the official announcement of Archie and Lilibet’s titles – Prince Archie Harrison and Princess Lilibet Diana. To be clear, as there has been much confusion around the children’s titles, from the moment of King Charles’ accession, Archie & Lilibet automatically became HRH Prince and Princess. The 1917 Letters Patent grant the style HRH Prince or Princess to (among others) all children of the sons of the monarch.
According to reports, there were discussions going on between Harry, Meghan, King Charles, the Palace and so forth for some time around the use of the titles. The children’s titles will only be used in formal settings and not in everyday conversation, for example. When Archie and Lilibet are old enough, they can decide if they choose to use the titles or not.
The Royal Family website has been updated to reflect the change — see below.

Now our look at what Meghan wore for International Women’s Day.

Meghan wore a black cashmere coat from Max Mara – the ‘Lilia’, $5,990 in black.

***UPDATE 10 March – Upon closer look, her black crop trousers are not the Max Mara, the ‘Nerina’ side-button pants, $675 (past season, no longer available). Thanks to one of our followers for the suggestion.

An older version of the Altuzarra ‘Tristan’ cropped button-trim pants in black (no longer available) have been suggested as the style Meghan may be wearing. The button details appear to line up with the pant Meghan is wearing. The only difference is the below version of the pant has the button tab at the waist and Meghan’s do not. It could be that Meghan is wearing a slightly older version of the pant or they are a different pair all together.

Thanks to our followers and Mary at Meghan’s Closet for the tip.
We were thinking her black ribbed sweater is from Sportmax, a Max Mara brand. It is the crewneck sweater in black, $495, but upon closer look we see that the cuffs do not match the Sportmax version.

Her shoes are the Valentino ‘Garavani Roman Stud’ Flat Mule in ivory calfskin, $770 (no longer available). These are past season and we first saw the Duchess wear them in April 2021 while taking Archie to school.

The Duchess also wore her Valentino ‘Rockstud’ VA4083 5001/87 Sunglasses (no longer available). She first wore the sunglasses during her and Harry’s visit to New York City, September 2021 and a number of times since then.

Her bag is from Chanel – the 19 Flap Bag in Calfskin Crochet White & Black, $5,950. The bag is from the 2021 Cruise Collection and no longer available.

She wore her Cartier ‘Love’ bracelet, Diana’s Cartier Tank watch, Diana’s diamond tennis bracelet (we show it worn in 2018), her Bentley & Skinner diamond tennis bracelet and two other unidentified bracelets. (Apologies for the blurry photo, its the best we could do.)

Meghan also had on a gold Omega style necklace and gold button earrings which at first we thought may have been pieces once belonging to Princess Diana. We show Diana wearing the set, gold button earrings and Omega necklace, while visiting Saudi Arabia, November 18, 1986.

Meghan’s earrings appear to be an ivory enamel finish with diamonds across the middle.

There was a butterfly pendant that matched the butterfly earrings that Meghan has worn (previously Diana’s). Diana wore the pendant on the gold Omega necklace she wore shown above. Thank you to everyone on our social media accounts for the feedback — we will keep researching the pieces.

UPDATE: Meghan in Carolina Herrera for a night out with Harry – February 28, 2023
Meghan and Harry stepped out for dinner on February 28, 2023 in Los Angeles.

The Duchess wore a coat by Carolina Herrera – the double-faced wool oversized cape beige, $626 (no longer available).

Her shoes appear to be the Dior “Essence 100” style in black calf skin leather, $625.

It also appears that Meghan is carrying her Dior calfskin Pochette in Navy – a piece she has carried in the past.

Veronica Beard has confirmed that the Duchess is wearing their high-rise ‘Maera’ skinny jean in black stretch vegan leather, $298.

Unfortunately we were unable to clearly see the earrings she wore – which appear to possibly be a diamond hoop style.

Finally, I’d like to share my exciting experience last night meeting Sarah, The Duchess of York.

The Duchess was at a local bookstore here in New Jersey promoting her new book, A Most Intriguing Lady, $22, a Victorian romance novel. It is the second book in the collaboration between the Duchess of York and co-author, Marguerite Kaye. Their first collaboration was for the novel Her Heart for a Compass.
From Amazon –
From Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, a sweeping, romantic compulsively readable historical saga about a Duke’s daughter—the perfect Victorian lady—who secretly moonlights as an amateur sleuth for high society’s inner circle.”
It was truly an honor meeting the lovely Duchess, who was so very kind and took her time speaking with each attendee and taking photos.
Everyone who attended the event took home a signed copy of the book!

All of the Duchess’ books are available on Amazon.
We leave you with this clip from Good Morning America earlier this week.
Any idea where her earrings are from yet?
Hi Samantha, We never got a clear look at her earrings which is why we haven’t updated the post. If any information comes about, we will update the post. Thanks, Susan
Meghan looks always so classy! I love her style.
Yes, she does.
How neat to meet Sarah! That must have been pretty interesting.
Meghan looking happy is never a bad thing. I don’t always like her style choices but I don’t pay for her clothes so no skin off my back.
