Meghan has had a familiar face by her side in the UK this week: her close friend Kelly McKee Zajfen, who visited with her young son, Jack.
Kelly McKee Zajfen shared sweet photos from their time together, including a pub outing and a game of mahjong.
There’s something so special about getting a taste of this magical place with my bestie, and having my sweet Jack along for the adventure,” Kelly wrote. She said she loved seeing this chapter through Meghan’s eyes while sharing some of Jack’s little firsts with him. Fish and chips made the itinerary, too!”
The part of Kelly’s message that stayed with me was what she said about the people they met:
“To everyone we’ve met or bumped into, thank you for being so loving to my friend 🥹 It’s been beautiful to witness. She missed you too!”
How lovely that Kelly got to see that welcome firsthand. Her photos capture what sounds like a visit full of friendship, family time and happy new memories for Jack. Kelly signed off with a cheerful “Cheerio!”—though she admitted they were leaving a piece of their hearts in the UK.

The Duchess’ flip flops are the pair she received while she and Harry were visiting Australia earlier this year. Her hat is from Harry’s 40th birthday party.

In my prior post I shared that Meghan’s security officer was carrying a Call It By Your Name—Quilted Maxi Cabas – HAPPY FACE – All Chambray costs €280 (about $320 USD). Kelly has confirmed that the bag does indeed belong to her after I tagged her in my Instagram post last night.
In this next photo, Meghan is wearing her Heidi Merrick ‘Finny’ cardigan in black and tan (no longer available). She first wore the sweater back in July.
