Today, Archie turns seven, and if you’ve been following along since 2019 like I have, you know what a journey it’s been—not just for him, but for Meghan and Harry as well. From that first carefully shared photo in Windsor to the sun-drenched glimpses of life in California, Archie has grown up in a way that feels both public and deeply private at the same time.
Meghan shared these photos on Instagram this afternoon.

Meghan’s caption read—
7 years later…happy birthday to our sweet boy 🤍”
When Archie was born, there was so much curiosity around him—what he’d look like, how he’d be raised, what kind of childhood he’d have. But Harry and Meghan made it clear early on: they were going to do things their way. Less formality, more freedom. Less pomp, more real life.

Looking back at photos over the years, what stands out most isn’t the milestones we don’t see—it’s the moments we do.

And that’s the thing. Archie hasn’t been raised for the spotlight—he’s been raised for life.
We’ve seen him baking in the kitchen, exploring the outdoors, celebrating quietly with family. Glimpses of a childhood that feels grounded, warm, and, dare I say, pretty relatable.

Seven years in, Archie seems to be growing up exactly how his parents intended: surrounded by love, with a strong sense of self, and just enough distance from the noise to actually enjoy being a kid.

So today, as we take a little walk down memory lane—from that first newborn photo in 2019 to the sweet, sunlit moments of recent years—it’s a reminder that sometimes the most meaningful stories are the ones told softly.

In other Meghan news…
Over the weekend Meghan made a quiet solo trip to Chicago to attended her godson’s First Communion—the son of one of her longtime college friends—and kept things completely low-key.
She arrived early, sat with the other families, and blended right in. Dressed simply and elegantly, she was spotted smiling as the children made their way down the aisle.

It’s a small detail, but it says a lot. Even with everything going on, she makes the time to show up for the people who matter.
Meghan wore her Carolina Herrera Double-Faced Wool Oversized Cape in beige (no longer available). She first wore the cape on a dinner date in West Hollywood, February 2023.

Last week Meghan shared this cute story on her Instagram with Compartes executive, Jonathan Grahm, who is the owner and creative director of Compartés Chocolatier, a well-known gourmet chocolate brand based in Los Angeles. As you know, Compartes has teamed up with As Ever to offer chocolate.
