On Friday night, Meghan and Harry attended a private Netflix BEEF Season 2 Tastemaker event hosted by Co-CEO and Chief Content Officer of Netflix, Ted Sarandos and his wife Nicole Avant at a residence in Montecito.

Even though it was a private event, the guest list was impressive. Names like Katy Perry, Justin Trudeau, Carey Mulligan, Orlando Bloom and Oscar Isaac were also in attendance. The overall vibe was very relaxed and intimate – very Montecito.

The evening celebrated Season 2 of BEEF, a dark comedy-drama anthology series exploring how a single, intense conflict escalates, fueled by the characters’ inner emptiness and unexpressed rage. The show stars comedian and actress, Ali Wong and actor Steven Yuen along with Carry Mulligan and Oscar Issac as well as Charles Melton. It is one of Netflix’s most talked-about series.

Hosting it in Montecito with a smaller, curated group makes sense—less flash, more influence.
Now a look at what Meghan wore for the event.

Meghan wore a gown from Heidi Merrick – ‘Gale’ gown in Chartreuse, $715 (currently unavailable). A similar dress, the ‘Idyll’, is available in the chartreuse color here.

She wore her Jimmy Choo ‘Etana 50’ Leather Strappy Mule Sandals in Tan (past season). We first saw her wear these sandals during the couple’s visit to Colombia in August 2024.

Jimmy Choo offers a similar style – the ‘Ciela’ slide sandal here.

I could see that she is wearing a pair of diamond stud earrings. These could be the oval Brilliant Earth diamond studs that we’ve seen her wear or something else entirely.

Stella & Dot offers a similar pair for $25. Use code WHAT15 for 15% off.

More updates! In the latest As Ever newsletter, Meghan can be seen in her kitchen cooking up something good!

We have not yet identified the exact sweater Meghan is wearing in the photo. It could be something older which make it more difficult to find. Below are a few similar styles to get the look.
Quince Lightweight Cotton Cashmere Crew Sweater, $30 / Banana Republic Lightweight Cashmere Crew-Neck Sweater, $160 / Aritzia Bare Cashmere Touchstone Sweater, $148

Her yellow and ivory apron has a floral print and what looks like writing — “Pasta” (I can’t make out what else it might say).

I’ll be back here this week for Meghan and Harry’s trip to Australia that is due to start on Tuesday.
According to Australia’s 7 News, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are set to visit Canberra, Melbourne, and Sydney during their upcoming trip.
Reports suggest the couple will include a visit to a children’s hospital, along with engagements focused on veterans’ affairs and mental health.
Harry and Meghan are also expected to attend an event on Sydney Harbour hosted by Invictus Games Foundation’s Australian branch, which has expressed interest in hosting the Invictus Games in 2031.
During the visit, Meghan will spend time at a women’s homelessness shelter, while Harry’s schedule is set to include a visit to an AFL club in Melbourne, attendance at a rugby union match in Sydney, and an additional engagement in Canberra.
Meghan is also slated to appear at the Her Best Life women’s retreat in Sydney, where she will take part in a gala dinner featuring a live conversation, alongside sessions centered on connection, conversation, and shared experiences.
