UPDATE 2/20: It turns out the shower was actually this afternoon (Wednesday). Here you see Meghan leaving The Mark Hotel on her way to the airport Wednesday night after the shower and other events of the day.
She wore a pair of Adidas Ultraboost sneakers, $180, in what appears to be black. The Duchess also had on the Ingrid & Isabel Active Side Zip Jacket ($88) with a pair of Lululemon ‘Align’ pants ($98) in black.
Meghan’s tote is by Cuyana. It is the brand’s Le Sud Leather Day Bag ($295) in black. It looks like the Duchess is wearing the ‘Mommy’ necklace ($850) from a brand she has worn before, Jennifer Meyer Jewelry.
We will update the post when we have information and confirmation on Meghan’s coat. Now we return to the earlier portion of our post.
========================================
It was reported early this morning that Meghan’s baby shower is actually happening this afternoon (Wednesday) in the Grand Penthouse at The Mark Hotel in New York. It did not take place yesterday as was widely reported. The event is said to be co-hosted by her good friends, Serena Williams and Amal Clooney.
According to Tatler Magazine’s exclusive, Serena Williams chose the location as she frequents the hotel’s restaurant by Jean-Georges Vongerichten.
More from the The Mark’s Hotel site.
The Mark Hotel’s ravishing grand penthouse is the largest hotel penthouse suite in the USA at more than 10,000 square feet including 2,500 square feet of rooftop terrace overlooking Central Park, the Metropolitan Museum of Art and beyond.
The unprecedentedly spacious penthouse is set out over the top two floors of The Mark Hotel and includes 5 bedrooms, 4 fireplaces, 6 bathrooms, 2 powder rooms, and 2 wet bars. The Living Room (which can be transformed into a full-sized Grand Ballroom) boasts 26-foot ceilings, a fireplace and adjacent wet bar.”
Serena posted a photo on her Instagram, taken just after noon today in one of the penthouse bathrooms.
Details on the event include word there will be a floral arranging lesson and a dessert table prepared by the hotel restaurant’s head chef, Jean-Georges Vongerichten.
Shortly before noon a cotton candy machine arrived as well as about a dozen or so suitcases from Away Luggage, reported to be favors for each of the guests in attendance! You can see the Away Luggage pieces in this Hello! Canada Tweet below.

Away is a sustainable and ethical company which falls right in line with much of the types of products and companies Meghan continues to support.
More about the products from the company’s site. “Our polycarbonate and aluminum suitcases are …guaranteed for life. How we make our products matters too, which is why we choose to work with luggage suppliers who have processes that cut back on waste…”. The company has partnered with Peace Direct, a nonprofit that “supports local peacebuilders in twelve areas of conflict around the world who work to address the triggers of violence and help prevent it.” More about the company’s charitable efforts from its website.
We’ve also chosen to work with partners who support charitable causes, like Charity: Water, whose mission is to improve access to clean water, and Kode With Klossy, who works to empower girls to become leaders in tech. Together, we connect travelers with more than great luggage: we connect them with ways to leave the world a better place than they found it.
The luggage is available in a variety of colors and sizes and includes features such as built-in USB battery packs for charging mobile phones and other devices. The Away Bigger Carry-on, shown below ($245), is described as “The perfect carry-on, sized up. Unbreakable, thoughtfully designed, and guaranteed for life.”
The luggage starts at $245 for the Carry-on up to $295 for the Large suitcase, 29” x 20.5” x 12.5”.
Monogramming is offered for an additional $50. The company also offers a selection of travel bags. It was a fashion showcase as guests began arriving in the afternoon. Those attending included, Abigail Spencer, Misha Nonoo, Jessica Mulroney, Gayle King, fitness guru Taryn Toomey, Lindsay Roth and Amal Clooney. Meghan’s hair stylist from the royal wedding, Serge Normant as well as her close friend and make-up artist, Daniel Martin were also seen arriving.

We begin with news some of you may have already heard: Meghan is in New York enjoying time with friends and a baby shower. Below, the Duchess headed to lunch before her shower this afternoon.
Reporter Omid Scobie broke the story Monday that the Duchess was in the city; this is from his Harper’s Bazaar story:
Meghan flew from London to New York on Friday, February 15, for five nights of rest, shopping, and good food with some of her closest and most loyal pals—her first time in NYC since getting married.
More in this morning’s report for GMA.
Meghan is staying on the Upper East Side; midday she was joined at her hotel by close friend and Suits co-star Abigail Spencer. Below, the Duchess and Ms. Spencer as they leave Meghan’s hotel.

The pair walked to the nearby Met Breuer (part of the Metropolitan Museum of Art).
Abigail and Meghan were then seen at the Surrey Hotel where it is believed they had lunch. (These buildings are all very close, within two blocks of each other, so it is not a long walk.) Following that they returned to Meghan’s hotel for her shower.
This Daily Mail Tweet has a brief video in it as well.

Now for a quick glance at what Meghan wore.
The Duchess was in another vintage piece from William Vintage, this one the coat from a classic couture ensemble by Courrèges. More from the William Vintage Instagram.
Here is a closer look via 1st Dibs. The black matelassé ensemble included the trapeze coat with its stand collar, large buttons and short sleeves. The matching short-sleeved dress featured a scoop neckline and bow.
André Courrèges founded the label in the mid-60s; more from The Telegraph’s 2016 obit on the designer:
…in the mid-1960s he changed the way women dressed, and did so almost overnight.
Courrèges’s “new look” swept the world in 1964 almost as dramatically as had that of Dior in 1947, but, unlike Dior, whose clothes evoked the opulence of a bygone age, Courrèges’s highly distinctive designs owed virtually nothing to tradition, instead they embraced the “Space Age”.
Women’s Wear Daily called him the “Le Corbusier of Paris Couture” and his clothes were embraced by Lee Radziwill, Margaret Trudeau, the Baroness de Rothschild and Princess Ira von Fürstenberg.
The Duchess might have been in a pair of H&M jeans, possibly the brand’s Mama Shaping Skinny jeans.
Meghan’s are longer than those seen on the model. Customer comments on the H&M site refer to the jeans as being too long, and longer than shown on the model; that would explain the disparity in length.
Meghan appeared to be carrying a bag by CH Carolina Herrera, the brand’s diffusion line.
It looks like the Matroyshka Large Shoulder Bag in the ‘trench’ colorway. The bag is good-sized, measuring 12″ x 20″ x 9″. The Matroyshka line is described as being “… inspired by the traditional Russian nesting dolls, featuring different sizes which neatly fit inside each other.”
Meghan’s shoes might be one of her older pairs, possibly those made for Scoop by Stuart Weitzman.
With thanks to Alexandra on Twitter, we think Meghan was wearing Le Specs sunglasses, the brand’s Air Heart style. We show them at Nordstrom ($69), but they are also offered at Net-a-Porter ($70). In Australia and New Zealand they are carried at The Iconic ($69.95).
As you can see in the photos, Meghan’s hair was down.
The Duchess was wearing her Pippa Small Herkimer Diamond Earrings ($1900).And she also had on her Solange Azagury Partridge Love Ring, shown below when Meghan wore it to a different engagement.
UPDATE: Tonight Meghan was joined by friends for dinner at the Polo Bar, designer Ralph Lauren’s restaurant.
Above you see her arriving with Markus Anderson, the friend who is said to have introduced Prince Harry and Meghan. Also on hand tonight, Serena Williams and Jessica Mulroney. Below, another look at the restaurant.
The Duchess wore a piece we first saw Christmas Day, her Victoria Beckham Tailored Slim Coat in deep navy cashmere ($3085). She appeared to be carrying a Stella McCartney Bag, the brand’s Falabella Fine Chain Mini Tote ($1185). The bag is measures roughly 14″ x 16″ x 4″. It is made of a polyurethane/polyester blend and has a top handle as well as a chain that can be used to carry it as a crossbody style.
Meghan was in a pair of boots we’ve not seen before. They look like Tamara Mellon’s ‘Kindred’ Mid-Calf Boot ($695). Made in calf hair, the style has an almond toe and dramatic, architectural heel measuring 4″.
A note about our use of photos from the NYC visit: Last night we did not publish or post the photos of Meghan when she was out and about. It felt somewhat intrusive to us and we elected not to post about the evening. Today there was a fixed media position set up at Meghan’s hotel and she traveled in a vehicle with US State Department plates. Things were clearly arranged ahead of time and Meghan knew to expect media, thus our decision to publish photos. The situation this evening was similar.
Our WMW fashion recap from Instagram:
====================================================
We now have details for this weekend’s royal visit to Morocco.
A little background on the country, beginning with its location. The North African country is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea and its national colors are red and green, something we will likely see reflected in Meghan’s wardrobe at some point.
The Duke and Duchess will fly into Casablanca, the country’s largest city, on Saturday night. Flight time from London to Casablanca is a bit more than three hours.
They will be greeted by the British Ambassador, Thomas Reilly, and Prince Harry will inspect a Guard of Honour. This is the only appearance on Saturday.
SUNDAY:
- The day begins with a visit to an Education for All boarding house, located in Asni, situated in the Atlas Mountains. The organization provides housing for girls ages 12-18 to ensure they have access to secondary education. The couple will meet teens who live at the facility and the housemother.
- Next on the agenda, a stop at the Lycée Qualifiant Grand Atlas, another secondary school located in Asni. Meghan and Harry will meet students and watch a football game.
- The Duke and Duchess then visit the original Education for All boarding house where the program began. Prince Harry will invest Michael McHugo, the founder of EFA, with the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire. Mr. McHugio is being recognized for his work improving gender equality in education in Morocco.
- There is then a break in the schedule for lunch and travel to Rabat, the capital of Morocco.
- Sunday night there is a formal reception at the British Ambassador’s home. Guests at the function will influential Moroccan women, disabled athletes and young entrepreneurs.
MONDAY:
- The first engagement is at the Moroccan Federation of Royal Equestrian Sports, where the Duke and Duchess will learn about a program using equine therapy for children with special needs. Meghan and Harry will watch a riding demonstration and see a grooming session with children in the program.
- In the afternoon Meghan and Harry will watch a cooking demonstration with children from underprivileged backgrounds as they learn traditional Moroccan recipes. They will also view locally made artisan cookware and meet children with disabilities who work in a specially designed restaurant that accommodates their challenges.
- The final engagement for the Duke and Duchess is at the Andalusian Gardens at the Kasbah, where they will meet young entrepreneurs and view traditional Moroccan arts and crafts.
More on the trip from Camilla Tominey’s story for The Telegraph:
The trip comes ahead of a four-hour flight to Morocco this weekend, where the royal couple will spend a night in Casablanca before carrying out two days of engagements in Asni, in the heart of the Atlas Mountains, and Rabat. A Kensington Palace spokesman indicated that a doctor will be travelling with the royal party, saying: “Medical provision has been taking into account.”
The trip, scheduled at the last-minute after a regional engagement fell through, took royal watchers by surprise – as has the New York outing, even though it is thought to have been planned for months.
We will see you Friday for the official arrival in Casablanca, if not before!

- Meghan flew to New York on Friday and was photographed incognito, being escorted into an SUV in the city on Monday. Carrying a second wide-brimmed black hat in her hand, along with a white bag while her bodyguard carried a Lululemon holdall, Meghan may have gone unnoticed, were it not for her sparkling diamond engagement ring catching the eye of a paparazzi.

A very useful article to read. Thanks a lot for sharing this. Fine work. Keep it up.
Paula says
Big respect to you for not posting the invasive pictures of the other night. I was of the same opinion too. Other than the thumbnails I saw, I refused to click on them. We can admire her without stalking her and she has always been good to involve her public fans.
Ellen says
Love the vintage coat, especially with a skinny jean. But I am DYING for that Caroline Herrera large shoulder bag & the mid-calf boots.
Khalida says
She looked relaxed and glowing and happy. I’m so excited for her! 🙂 Those sunglasses are so lovely I had to splurge!! Thanks ladies of WMW 🙂
sue d says
Fun, fabulous and amazing outfit. Very excited that she was in NYC! But sad that I missed her at both sites!
Maureen C says
Well done navigating this post–I’m sure it was a bit tricky! It’s refreshing to see Meghan back in her style comfort zone. She looks absolutely amazing in each of these looks. I can only imagine what a wonderful trip this was for her. She was back “home” in the States, surrounded by some of her closest friends, celebrating such a happy milestone. The Mommy necklace brings me such a big smile. I wonder if that was a shower gift.
One question–are we sure about the Lululemon pants? At this stage in her pregnancy, I’m doubtful that she can comfortably wear regular pants with such a high waist. I know when I was in my third trimester, there was no way that I could wear pants like those. Could they be a maternity-specific legging?
Oona says
Thank you so much for respecting Meghan’s privacy. I’m rather new here and I’m so grateful to have found a site that
covers the Duchess in such a healthy way. This has made me a new fan of WMW, not the clothes commentary, though I like that too!
Didn’t Meghan look hot today! I hope she gives up the frumpish styles the the royals try to force on her and shows her own style. Physically she’s quite elegant, and her intelligence, education and articulateness just add polish to the charm. I can’t wait to see her slay them in Morrocco!
Bonnie says
Oona, I’d like to respectfully say, that the royals are not forcing frumpish styles on Megan, as you suggest. Although it is law, that the Queen must approve marriages of the first six in line to the throne, beyond that, she doesn’t micro manage her family. There is, of course, an expectation that members of the Royal Family will dress with decorum and dignity. However, there is nobody forcing frumpish clothing on Meghan.
Amelie says
First off I really enjoyed the fact you included the graphic from Google Maps that shows how you can drive to Morocco from London and how much construction there is on the road in France as opposed to Spain. This is where I would insert a crying laughing emoji if I knew how hahaha.
As for Meghan’s NYC baby shower ensembles: All of her outfits were pretty killer, I can’t complain about any of them. The vintage one is soooo cute and so great. They are all very NYC and I would know, I live here. I’m sure it was so great for her to get away for a couple of days and see all her BFFs. Though I do wonder how she met some of these people like Amal Clooney, I’m very fascinated by that friendship along with Gayle King. I almost feel like Gayle came in Oprah’s stead?? Maybe Oprah couldn’t come to the shower so she sent Gayle as her proxy lol. It’s fun to speculate! Because I do not think Gayle was at the royal wedding and this is the first I’ve seen that Meghan and Gayle know each other somehow.
As for the Away suitcases, that’s a fun and thoughtful gift to her guests! It’s hard not to have heard of Away, their ads are EVERYWHERE including the NYC subway. However when it came time to buy a new suitcase last year (I had to get rid of one after a stay at a hotel with bed bugs) I opted to not get Away. It seems the suitcases get beat up pretty easily and they’re pretty expensive for what they are honestly. I stuck with my trusted Travelpro brand.
Tessa says
Princess Eugenie’s husband worked for George Clooney for years and may still — as a brand ambassador for his tequila — so William and Harry have known them for awhile it seems. It could be they met that way when she and Harry first started dating and then she hit it off with Amal. Supposedly she and Harry have stayed at the Clooney’s Italian villa a couple of times. Gayle King might be a good friend of one of the other guests, such as Serena, and it was kind of a “Oh I’ve always wanted to meet Gayle” kind of thing.
Lovely outfits. The heel on those boots!! So interesting. And the Correges vintage piece is marvelous. All around comfy looking and lovely. I’m glad she had two and a half days before anyone found her, and I’m sorry that someone broke the news at all. I’m also bummed I didn’t see her — I spend most of my life within a block of where she was — near The Mark, The Surrey, and the Met Breuer. I would have loved to see her, and I would NOT have told the paps!
Vixxo says
Could easily have met Amal who is a human rights lawyer while Meghan was UN Ambassador.
LadyLeah says
I have to say, seeing that ‘mommy’ necklace made me tear up a little.
I am so happy Meghan got to be showered with love and support by some of her nearest and dearest.
I continue to be amazed at how adroitly she has navigated this past year. Looking forward to the Morocco tour and the warmth and style she seems to carry around with her wherever she goes.
Larissa says
Meghan looks great and the moment I saw the jeans I knew we must finally be seeing her in some maternity clothes! I love the timeless combination with the pumps, and the vintage coat is another winner. I wonder if we’ll see it again post-maternity, since its cut suggests that Meghan didn’t have to go up a size to accommodate the bump, but at the same time it’s not a silhouette we’ve really see on Meghan before.
Most importantly, Meghan looks really happy. I’ve seen her take a lot of heat online for flying all the way to New York for a baby shower and it just seems cruel. I moved away from my friends nearly five years ago and it’s absolutely awful, if I had earned as much money in my job as Meghan had I would certainly be flying over to visit as often as I could. Yet the fact she hasn’t visited New York since her wedding shows just how dedicated she’s been to her new life and new role. She absolutely deserves a break and the opportunity to catch up with her friends. Looking forward to seeing her in Morocco too!

Loving all the choices!! That incredible vintage coat is one of a kind and she is so confident. Love the bag, the sunglasses ( really considering buying them). I am so excited about the Morocco trip, it is an amazing country, with absolutely delicious food and culture – one of my faves places to visit. Also, what a great itinerary and relevant visits dovetailing nicely with the changes the country is going through.
Donna says
Love, love, love the vintage trapeze coat with the skinny jeans! I think the stiletto pumps are wrong with the silhouette, I would have liked to see her in those marvelous boots instead.
I really think this trip was probably just a chance for Meghan to relax and have fun with her friends before her life is forever changed by becoming a parent. Getting away with friends was never the same after I had children. No matter how competent and trustworthy the childcare situation is, life is different as a parent.

Lily says
I had initially thought she was wearing her Cartier engagement/wedding earrings. What a shame she’s not! If I owned those, I’d wear them every chance I got!
Karen D says
She looks great. I love the coat. I also think the baby is due much sooner than April.
Dale says
Amal Clooney wore a lot of vintage during her pregnancy, and always looked terrific. I would not be surprised to learn she directed Meghan to Williamvintage and other vintage designer sites. She looks terrific!
Juniper says
Amal has not ever had a fashion misstep that I have noticed . . . so that would be good advice. Do we think that Meghan took her coat off for the shower and had something more form fitting underneath?
Dale says
Completely agree about Amal. I didn’t really think about the coat coming off for the shower, but it’s a good point. Hard to imagine her hanging out with girlfriends quite so formally dressed. Maybe she had a super soft and comfy sweater under that fabulous coat. (Just my fantasy.)
I just love seeing her looking so happy and relaxed in these pictures. What a fun time for her and her girls.
Bonnie says
Susan you handled this private, off duty, non official event just fine. First we saw Meghan wearing a bit of a disguise, with a grey hat pulled down on her head and she obviously didn’t want to be recognized. Then we start to read full details of her few days in NYC, the people who will join her, the restaurants they will visit. So obviously someone had permission to “leak” the information.
I like the fact that she has worn coats that close and cover her from the winter chill. Their lack of colour is predictable. Meghan wears vintage well.
I do wonder about the logistics of getting the shower gifts back to London. Reports say, that one gift was a crib. Likely someone in her position just leaves those details to others.
ElizaMo says
Meghan looks stunning in both outfits. Vintage Courreges may not be everyone’s first choice for maternity and does little for Meghan’s reputation for extravagance. However the tent shape works a treat, the textured fabric is lovely and the whole very swanky for a smart Big Apple get-together.
The Herrera tote is drool worthy and the nude accessories look great against the uniform black. The short jacket sleeves also help lighten things up.
I’m glad to see Meghan get good use of her fabulous VB overcoat and I’m impressed that she can muster yet another bag, and by McCartney too — that’s two Brit labels when she goes stateside. Those boots are wicked sensational, perfect for a night out in the city, the satin gives a superb sultry gleam for a truly glamorous look.
A huge treat to see Meghan tonight if a little sad that she couldn’t have this party in private. That was clearly the hottest ticket in town and could never have been kept secret, but Meghan seems to have handled the publicity expertly.
Linda says
I loved Meghan’s look today. It was chic and sophisticated and everything fit her beautifully! It was utterly refreshing as I often struggle with her ill-fitting garments. I find that photos of Meghan, prior to royalty, show her in beautiful clothes, perfectly tailored, and looking totally at ease. The photos from today feel the same way. I think I’ve underestimated how difficult it must be for her to change her style to comform to British royalty. I’ve been in the camp that says, “she’s got every resource available to her and she picks ‘that’?” She’s obviously a beautiful and stylish woman and I think I need to give her more grace as she takes on the challenges of British royalty. I think she desperately wants to stay true to herself and not be lost just trying to comform to everyone’s expectations. Bravo for that! And, throw a first pregnancy in there and the changes are coming at her fast and furious. Today’s engagement showed how comfortable she is in her familiar surroundings. I am going to make every effort to show her grace and be patient as she finds her style sea legs in her new and ever changing life. She truly is stunning!
Rachel says
Linda, You are very eloquent. I agree somewhat with you. It must difficult for someone who has a certain “red carpet” idea of fashion choices to move into a much more conservative fashion family of sorts. However, I still maintain that she is in a new working role and married into royalty and she should unfortunately perhaps, conform to standards of fashion and decorum. Just my opinion.
Bonnie says
Rachael, I agree with all you say. If you are in a job that has a “dress code” then you conform to that code. People in the military, working for an airline, working in a hospital, even working at Disney Land, are given the guidelines for their wardrobes. It’s well and fine for individuals to have their own senses of style, but when there are expectations from a job, when you by choice marry into a centuries old institution, when you have a wealth of resources, then conformity, unfortunately, is expected.
Rachel says
I love the coat. It fits!
But the shoes are a big “no” for me with the skinny jeans. I know some think that the heels and skinny pants are a good look, but I think it’s dated now, and certainly not the best look for a later pregnancy stage. I would have liked to see some boots with the skinny pants, it would have looked great with that coat.
NOTE: admin edit
Mary Bolt says
Loved the black skinny jeans with the neutral color shoes nice for the day. I must say it seems to be all the rave in the States I am looking for a pair they are a classic look!
ElizaMo says
I thought the nude heels with the skinnies looked very savvy and NY-chic. The trapeze style coat needs something slimline under it for balance and I thought Meghan handled it well. I’m sorry it didn’t work for you!
LeeN says
I TOTALLY agree—skinny jeans and spike heels are passé; any kind of boot would have been preferable. And at this advanced stage of pregnancy, teetering on high heels actually looks silly.
Ettennyls says
@Rachel, completely agree! I also think she needs her skinny jeans to be tighter in the calves or something. This pair not only looks too long, but too loose. If they were perfectly ankle length (or even cut 3/4 inch above the ankle), I think the looseness would look great–but not as they are.
To the Admin: If you do not wish to publish this, I understand. But respectfully, I think that you would get much more commentary and opinion (and web visits) if you were less aggressive about policing the comments. I understand that there are some comments that are outright inappropriate (not commenting on Meghan’s style; or may be overly snarky, rude, or otherwise not necessary), but from the amount of “admin edit[s]” that I see, I (again, respectfully) feel that you stifle some interesting commentary. My two cents! Publish this if you wish. Sincerely, Ettennyls
Sarah Ashley says
E! News reported that she is wearing Hatch “Nearly Skinny” Maternity Jeans, available for $248.
Juniper says
Meghan looks fantastically chic and comfortable. Vintage looks great on her and I especially think this era suits her. She certainly has a sunglasses game like no other! It is just amazing to see the extensive production, entourage and security detail “normal” events like having lunch with a good friend require and I cannot believe the US State Dept was involved, too.
I am super excited for the Morocco trip because I am hoping Meghan will be in some colorful outfits and I look forward to learning about that country, too.
Jackie says
Love everything about this coat and how she styled it. She looks chic, but not like she’s trying too hard. She also looks very “NYCish”. Meghan should get this coat in other colors as well for this pregnancy and, God willing, her next.
SG says
Hooray! It’s fun to see our American Duchess looking so NYChic!
Christina O. says
Thank you for the Meghan in NYC post! I understand your reticence and appreciate the way you handled the release of the photos.
Meghan looks glamorous and so chic in her André Courrèges vintage coat and Le Specs retro sunglasses. I like the proportion of her oversized Matroyshka bag which is a great size with the black trapeze coat and perfect for tucking away any purchases!
So pleased she got away for some girl time with good friends and then the itinerary for Morocco sounds extremely fascinating.
ElizaMo says
Those are definitely killer shades, Meghan plays a strong sunglasses game. I thought the bag looked like her old Everlane tote at first, there’s some similarity in style and I like the point you make about this Herrera being a good shape and size with that cute coat.
Anna says
Hallelujah, her coat fits! And it’s gorgeous! Love the retro sleeve length to show off her delicate arms. It’s very Jackie O. Also, whoa, her baby bump has bumped!
Bonnie says
I’m wondering if that vintage coat, back in the day, was worn with elbow length gloves?
LadyLeah says
Meghan looks super stylish and fashionable and most importantly: happy! Love this chic coat paired with jeans. I’m so glad she decided to spend time with friends on this side of the pond. What a whirlwind of a year for her. I am glad she has incredibly loving friends in addition to her mum and her husband. The media onslaught has been ferocious.
Thank you, WMW for being the pleasant and kind oasis of sartorial escape for us royal fans. I hope she knows we’re rooting for her.
Ceejay says
I do sometimes wonder how much of these media articles are accurate, when you can spot one innaccuracy you really wonder about the rest of it unfortunately. Meghan and Harry didn’t spend valentine’s together, Harry was with the Royal Marines in the Arctic. Just my observation of some of the media rush to get their output about Meghan out that they make some assumptions.
That coat is lovely, I hope we get an ID soon.
Thank you for showing restraint where you felt she was being hounded, that isn’t within the ethos of this site and I respect that, we are simply here out of a love of fashion and curiosity of what brand “this” or “that” item is.
Bonnie says
CeeJay, although Harry was in an igloo on February 14, apparently he later flew home and he and Meghan spent Valentine’s evening together.
Ceejay says
Thank you, there you go, I was the one making assumptions. I hadn’t found that info. I’m glad they got that time to ingether. If only I had the resources to jet back and forth to fit everything in.
Brandi says
What a treat! I cant wait to see the posts and the clothing choices. What is the climate and weather like in Morocco now? My dad flew in there for work one time and all I remember him saying was that there were goats on the runway ? Its good that Meghan got to spend time with old friends. ?
WhatMeghanWore says
It’s fairly temperate, today the high was about 55º. I’m glad you mentioned it because I had a little forecast screen-grab I meant to include, thank you! 🙂
