Happy Easter Everyone! We’re back with an updated post!
Today Meghan and Harry attended a number of Invictus Games The Hague events.
It has been an all-white weekend for the Duchess of Sussex. Meghan has worn white on Friday, Saturday, and today, Sunday. She and Harry took in some of the day’s competitions as the Invictus Games kicks into full swing in The Hague, Netherlands.
Meghan wore a white jacket from Brandon Maxwell, jeans, and her Manolo Blahnik BB pumps in the cognac suede colorway, a pair she first wore for her fortieth birthday last August.

In addition to watching competition, Harry and Meghan, well-known dog lovers, stooped down to pet some pups at the event. (Back home in California, the couple have dogs Guy and Pula.)
You may have noticed in the above photo that the moment was being filmed. It has been reported that Netflix is there with the couple filming the weekend for their future Invictus Games documentary.
Also seemingly at home are son Archie, who turns three on May 6, and Lili, who will turn one on June 4. But the Sussex kids aren’t far from their parents’ minds. Speaking to young journalists, Sophia (11) and Jay (12) from Vteam, about his wish for he and Meghan’s two kids.
Harry replied to the young reporters —
“To grow up in a better world. To grow up in a fairer world, a safer world, a more equal world. It’s not going to be easy, but I will never, ever, ever rest until I as a parent have at least tried to make the world a better place for them. Because it is our responsibility that the world is the way that it is now. I don’t think we should be bringing children into the world unless we are going to make that commitment to make it better for them.” He then added “We cannot steal your future.”
A hug with Harry concludes the interview.

Later Sunday, Meghan visited the British Embassy for readying hour. She wore a navy pinstripe jacket for the appearance.

And now… What Meghan wore!
We start with her white blazer look.
Meghan wore a white belted jacket from Brandon Maxwell’s Fall/Winter 2022 trunk show, $2195.
We do not have an ID on the jeans she wore. They look similar to some of the other skinny jeans she’s worn in the past. Check back for updates.
She brought back her Manolo Blahnik cognac suede BB pumps, $665. Also available here. She first wore the shoe for the Smart Works collection launch, September 2019.
Meghan also wore her Valentino rockstud sunglasses, $145. You may recall seeing these during the couple’s New York visit, September 2021.
Her earrings are new and have not yet been ID’d along with two new rings. The rings are by Shiffon and the brand confirmed with us that these are from a “yet to be launched collection”. We are told that the rings are pavé diamond bands with a round diamond on one end. We look forward to the release of these rings!
UPDATE 4/19: We have confirmation that the earrings Meghan is wearing are by Sarah Hendler — a Los Angeles-based fine jewelry designer and estate/vintage jewelry curator. They are a bespoke version of the pavé spear tip dangle studs, $1,900. Meghan’s have a green emerald and blue sapphires.
Meghan’s pair are bespoke and according to Meghan’s Chronicles, they were created for her a few years ago and feature the designer’s signature spear tip dangle design with an emerald stone and pavé set blue sapphires on the spear.
We show similar styles below from the designer.
More from Sarah Hendler’s site —
“I named two of the collections — Shirley and Ethel — after my grandmothers, who were a huge influence on my early interest in jewelry,” Sarah explains. “The ‘spear’ collection is called Shirley because she was a woman always a little ahead of her time in terms of fashion, and I think the silhouette really represents a retro/vintage feel, but with a modern edginess. The ‘starburst ball’ collection is named for Ethel — because she loved a big cocktail ring! My version has elements of Victorian jewelry but with a new, bold scale and surprising enamel and pave touches.”
The Duchess wore a pendant necklace which we first saw while the couple visited Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in New Jersey, November 2021.
It is a crescent moon, star, galaxy hammered medallion in gold and crystal and hangs on a gold round snake chain. There are a number of shops that carry the pendant which we are told is from a popular wholesale manufacturer in LA. We suggest Oregon-based Child of Wild, $30-$40+ for the charm and chain or San Diego-based Lizzy James, $64. Both shops donate to a number of charities.
She also wore Diana’s gold Cartier Tank watch, her Cartier ‘Love’ bracelet, and the Bentley & Skinner diamond tennis bracelet, a gift from Prince Charles shortly before the couple’s in May 2018. She is also wearing a new diamond tennis bracelet (see our previous posts for more details).
UPDATE 4/18: For Meghan’s visit to the British Embassy today she wore a navy pinstriped blazer which we first thought was the Veronica Beard Beacon Dickey jacket in navy pinstripe, $650. Upon closer look at some images, we don’t think this is the jacket. Meghan’s jacket is a double breasted style with a breast pocket that includes a button (it may be a gold button). We apologize for any confusion. We haven’t found the exact one she’s wearing. We will update the post if the blazer is identified.
The Veronica Beard blazer below is a good #RepliMeg for the jacket. To the right is the Victoria Beckham pinstripe jacket, $823, another similar style, which has the breast pocket.
UPDATE 4/23: The blue button-down shirt has not yet been ID’d. From what we can see, it appears to be a blue oxford style button down collar shirt with a pocket.
We were thinking that the shirt might be from Ralph Lauren, but have not found an exact match.
Below are some options to match Meghan’s style — Everlane’s relaxed oxford shirt, $80 or J Crew Factory – Signature-fit button-up shirt in end-on-end cotton, $39.
Finally for the Invictus Games Foundation the Duchess wore the Floral Laser-Cut Mini Dress from Valentino, $6000.
She also carried the Khaite ‘Beatrice’ hobo, $1200. We’re thinking it is the brown suede version.
UPDATE 4/19: She may have also worn her black Manolo Blahnik BB pumps, $665. Originally we though that Meghan may have been wearing her Manolo Blahnik BB pumps in black, however upon closer look at some newly available photos, it appears she is wearing chocolate brown suede pumps.
We’re wondering if maybe they are from Gianvito Rossi, suede pumps in the Texas colorway, $725. A brand she has worn previously and quite often.
Another suggestion from Meghan’s Chronicles on Instagram is the Ralph Lauren ‘Celia’ goat suede pumps, $575, in brown. Also available here. The color sees to match better but as we know, the lighting in some of these photos can really throw off the color of some pieces.
Meghan wore the shoe in olive green for the christening of Prince Louis, July 2018 and again while the couple were in Tonga, October 2018.
Meghan also brought back a ring we haven’t seen in some time, the Pippa Small Herkimer ‘Almost’ ring, $3,265, a piece we first saw at Princess Eugenie’s wedding, November 2018. She also had on one other ring we aren’t able to clearly see. This appears to be a new ring.
UPDATE 4/21: She wore her Edge of Ember ‘Wave’ earrings in gold, $90.
Tonight wraps up a busy weekend and Meghan is expected to head back to California on Monday. We will have another post with recaps and updates later this week. Thanks to all those that messaged and suggested IDs for pieces. A big thanks to Stephen Lock of i-Images and James Whatling for fantastic photography once again!
We leave you with image from the games – one that might look a little familiar.

To me, this is a good “middle-ground” between 2017 Meghan and 2022 Meghan. 2017 Meghan wore a lot more mass-consumer companies (J. Crew, Club Monaco, Everlane), and while I think she’s always worn designer, her look was more American sportswear to me–it didn’t telegraph “designer.” More and more, Meghan’s style has been a little more visibly luxury designer, and maybe that’s something that suits her age, professional aspirations, and financial situation better (or maybe, you know, her style changes like everyone else’s and/or she just likes luxury stuff more!). I think that it takes a lot of people time to sort of “grow into” luxury designer digs–most of us were not born into wearing outfits that equal the cost of college tuition or carrying a bag equal to a car payment–and personally, I think Meghan is sort of in that transition. There’s a fine balance between sophisticated and elegant versus affected or “dressing too old.”
The white jacket is a sophisticated touch to an otherwise casual outfit. I like that it ties in with her outfits that highlighted her in white. I like the dress too–it’s interesting, modest while showing off her legs, and it can look both a bit cool with the shades and red lip, but also “lady who lunches” polish next to Harry in his beige suit. The pinstripe I’m not wild about, but it’s hard to mess up blazer + jeans, and it’s fine (I’d have taken it off for the painting, but eh, whatever).
What I do think that Meghan could update is her hair. I think it just needs a trim–but I also think a shorter haircut would be tres chic (although, then again, Meghan’s natural texture is a bit curly, so hard to say).

She has always worn designer even before being in the RF and she can spend her earned money how she wants. Love seeing her dress up and show that one can be of service and substance while also being stylish.

I love all the white clothes…Meghan stands out in an understated way.
The Brandon Maxwell jacket is divine and the cognac pumps with jeans is a gorgeous color mix. And the pinstripe jacket is so sharp!
Another beautiful day for Meghan!
Larissa says
I like the Brandon Maxwell coat, and it looks great with jeans and the cognac pumps. I would prefer slightly skinnier jeans as I think the cut is a bit 90s and not really in keeping with the rest of the outfit, but that’s a minor quibble. The colours really look fantastic together.
I don’t care for the Veronica Beard jacket though I can’t quite figure out why. It looks fine on the model. The way Meghan has styled it with the cuffs of her shirt turned over, it seems quite dated to me.
I absolutely LOVE the Valentino dress from the evening reception! Meghan looks so glamorous! I could do without the 90s style shoulder bag (a trend that should stay in the past in my humble opinion) but that dress, those sunglasses, that lipstick! Absolutely stunning. A great way to finish the weekend.

Love the looks from this visit. I like seeing her in white. Also am I right to believe that the Khaite hobo bag is extendable at the bottom? Meghan’s looks rectangular at the bottom so I’m guessing the flaps can be extended on the side of the bag.
WhatMeghanWore says
Hi Stef – I haven’t looked any closer at the bag as I didn’t have much time last night. Later tonight I will take a look – it is the shape of the bag. The leather one on their site probably shows the details more clearly. Thanks Susan C
Carol says
I don’t think this will be posted but I think it’s in poor taste to wear such expensive clothes. These military people aren’t paid a tremendous amount of money, at least in the US they aren’t. The black jacket she wore and this white jacket look great but the price is astronomical. Does she just like to flaunt the designer?
WhatMeghanWore says
Hi Carol, all the royals have worn expensive outfits to engagements regardless of who was in attendance or what the event was for. Diana also wore high-end designer pieces to engagements.
With that said, it’s likely some if Meghan’s pieces worn were on loan to her. For example the Valentino suit, dress and bag. Since she is no longer a senior working royal she can do things like this and it’s a common practice in Hollywood amongst celebs. Hope that helps to clarify things a bit more. Thanks, Susan
Carol says
Thank you so much. I didn’t think as a non Royal she could except clothes on loan. I have followed the royals for over 40 years and I know they wear expensive clothing. It just seems extreme for a couple jackets.
Ursula says
Meghan is so famous and every designer would love her to wear their clothes, what a great PR for them. I am pretty sure she will get clothes on loan (as most US celebrities do), particularly for the most expensive ones.
Maureen C says
I agree. ? The pieces in her wardrobe have become more expensive since they left the firm. I’ve always loved Meghan, and she’s worn expensive, designer items for years, but the insanely expensive pieces she wears now make her feel less relatable IMHO.
WhatMeghanWore says
Maureen, I agree that the pieces she wears have become very expensive. However, I think it’s fine because I think of her as more of an inspiration. How her looks can inspire an outfit. I’ve gotten some ideas this weekend of what I can wear to work. I can do a pair of grey jeans with a similar boucle jacket and a cream white t-shirt or sweater underneath and make it looked polished for the office. I used to feel this way about many of the outfits Kate used to wear. I literally created looks from my closet to wear to work with either pieces Kate wore or similar. Now, many of Kate’s outfits are just unrelatable to me. Once in a while she wears something I can draw inspiration from. I really miss the 2012 to about 2017 Kate style and I do miss many of Meghan’s older styles as well. – Susan C
LadyLeah says
Carol, I understand what you’re saying. Valentino does seem like a very extravagant label to keep wearing. I was wondering if she is gifted many of these items…but still, the optics are a little jarring.
WhatMeghanWore says
Hi LadyLeah, Good to see you again. We’re almost positive that she is loaned pieces from designers. Which may be why we see some pieces that just don’t fit her well – such as the white suit on Friday. Hope that helps. Susan C
Carolyn says
This is my favourite look of this visit. The cut of the jacket with these jeans is much better than the outfit from yesterday.
